What is the current ZZZ banner?

This page is a living banner calendar for Zenless Zone Zero: the schedule board and countdown at the top are rebuilt from the game's own data every few hours, so you're always looking at what's actually running and what's next — never a copy someone froze last month.

Below the live board, this guide explains the parts that never change: how the phase system works, what pity really costs (90 pulls for a limited Agent, 80 for a W-Engine or Bangboo, 300 to guarantee your first standard S-Rank), why you can lose a 50/50, how rerun banners carry your pity over, and a plain framework for deciding whether a given banner is worth your Polychrome. Read the board for the who and when; read this for the how and whether.

The 50/50 — Why You Can 'Win Pity and Still Lose'

Hitting pity on a limited character banner guarantees an S-Rank, but not necessarily the *featured* one. The first S-Rank is a 50/50: half the time it's the banner Agent you wanted, half the time it's a random standard S-Rank instead. Lose that coin flip and the next S-Rank is guaranteed to be the featured Agent — so the true worst case is roughly pity-and-a-half, not endless. This guaranteed flag is stored on your account and carries forward, which matters when you plan across two banners.

The W-Engine banner is kinder at 75/25: 75% of the time your S-Rank weapon is the featured one, and losing still hands you the guaranteed on the next S-Rank. Because character and weapon pity live in separate channels, chasing a signature W-Engine is a *second* budget on top of the Agent — never assume one pity covers both. If you're new, the standard banner's 300-pull path is the one place a specific S-Rank is fully guaranteed with no coin flip at all.

Rerun Banners & Pity Carry-Over

When a past Agent returns on a rerun, the mechanics are the same 50/50 — but two rules make reruns friendlier than they look. First, limited pity carries over between banners: pulls you sank into a previous limited banner without landing the S-Rank aren't wasted — that count follows you into the next one, so a half-finished pity is real progress, not a reset. Second, reruns often ride special channels with a guaranteed-welfare twist: the very first S-Rank you pull is locked to be *your* chosen featured Agent (no 50/50 on that copy), and the banner's opening ten-pull comes at a modest discount — a one-time nudge, not a repeatable exploit.

The takeaway for planning: don't panic-stop a limited banner just because it's ending. Your pity is portable to the next limited character banner. Weapon pity is its own separate carry-over — generous, but never pooled with your Agent count.

Drip Marketing vs Teased vs Leaks

Drip marketing is HoYoverse itself revealing a future Agent early — an official portrait and name posted weeks or months before that character is ever scheduled. It's confirmed the character is coming; it is *not* a date. The board above only lists what already has a real date: the banner that's live, plus the 'Coming up' section below it. Once HoYoverse teases someone without a schedule yet, that name won't show up on this board — check back each new version and the board refreshes itself.

We deliberately keep unconfirmed leaks off the schedule. Datamined kits and rumored rerun line-ups change constantly and have burned plenty of players who over-saved on a false window. If it isn't officially drip-marketed or dated, it doesn't sit on this board as fact. The practical move: use drip reveals circulating through the game's own official channels to *decide who to save for*, and use the dated 'Coming up' section on this board to *decide when to spend*.

Who Should You Pull? A Framework, Not a Name

Skip 'who's the strongest' and answer these four questions before you pull — they hold for any banner, not just one:

  • 1. What role is your team actually missing? A strong Agent is still dead weight if your core team already covers that role. Look at your current lineup and ask whether this banner fills a real gap or just outshines someone you already own.
  • 2. How close are you to pity? Check your in-game pull counter. Close to pity means much lower risk; having just dumped pity on the last banner means the next pull carries far more risk.
  • 3. Does this Agent rerun? Nearly every limited S-Rank comes back eventually. If you're not in a rush, remind yourself: missing this pass isn't permanent, it's just a wait.
  • 4. Would saving for the next patch serve you better? If someone who fits your team even better is coming up, ask whether spending everything now is worth it, or whether holding part of it back makes more sense.

These four questions won't hand you a name — they help you decide on your own reasons, instead of pulling on impulse or because someone else did.
