Quick verdict

Well worth pulling, especially if you own Soldier 0 - Anby: an off-field stunner who keeps enemy DEF down by ~25% almost non-stop, raising the whole team's damage ceiling. You need about 90% CRIT Rate to unlock all her bonus Daze, and she shines most in an Aftershock team—but even outside one she's a rock-solid S-rank stunner.

Stat targets

The core stat is Crit Rate: aim ~78% with her signature Spectral Gaze, and ~90% IN COMBAT when running a 4pc Shadow Harmony set (which itself grants +12% CR) — because her Additional Ability converts Crit Rate into extra Daze on her off-field hits, so higher Crit Rate means more stun from those hits (per triggermains + game8). Off-signature, base CR sits ~50-78% depending on discs. Impact is an important secondary (raises stun speed). Substat priority: Crit Rate > Crit DMG > ATK% > Impact. Disc main stats: 4 Crit Rate · 5 Electric DMG · 6 ATK% (or Impact if the team needs faster stun). Note: sources have not published absolute ATK/Crit DMG breakpoints for Trigger, so this stays qualitative rather than inventing ATK numbers.

Rotation & combos

1) OPENER: on field, HOLD Basic Attack to charge Purge (絶意) — about 4 hits fills the 100-point bar and sets up Sniper Stance. 2) Use a Finishing Move, then Quick-Assist / swap to your main DPS. 3) OFF-FIELD LOOP: let the DPS (Soldier 0 Anby / Evelyn / Harumasa…) work on field while Trigger auto-fires Aftershock from the backline, continuously stacking Daze and applying DEF-shred / Break-weakening. 4) When you have energy, swap back for EX Special or Ultimate: afterward her off-field attacks cost 0 Purge and fire far more frequently — the strongest Daze-dump window. 5) Repeat from step 3, timing Trigger's Ultimate to push the Stun bar right before the DPS burst.

Mindscapes — how far is worth it?
M1 Worth it

The most-recommended stopping point (~+11% team dmg). 'Sharpened Senses': off-field attack Stun DMG multiplier +20%, Break-weakening rate +20%, off-field attack cooldown cut 3s → 2s, Purge gain +25% and max Purge raised 100 → 125. More Daze/DEF-shred plus more frequent off-field hits — exactly what an off-field stunner wants (per triggermains + sportskeeda). STOP HERE (M1) for most players.

M2 Worth it

'Ether Vision': each Aftershock grants 1 Hunter's Gaze stack, each Finishing Move grants 2; each stack gives +6% CRIT DMG to the WHOLE TEAM, up to 4 stacks = +24% CRIT DMG (10s). About +12% personal dmg and ~+7.5% team dmg (per sportskeeda). The second real value jump, but most stop at M1.

M3 Low value

'Homecoming': Basic / Dodge / Assist / Special / Chain Attack all +2 levels. A flat bump with no gameplay change — a stepping stone to M4.

M4 Situational

'Concealment': off-field attacks also trigger Disconnect, dealing 200% ATK damage and 120%-of-Impact daze. Adds both off-field damage and stun speed — a reasonable secondary stopping point if you already went past M3 (per triggermains).

M5 Low value

'Locked In': all skills +2 again, same as M3. Still just flat numbers, a bridge to M6 — low value.

M6 Worth it

'Beyond the River of the Dead': start battle with 5 Armor Break Rounds, +1 round per 25 Purge consumed (max 5); a Sniper Stance hit consumes a round for extra Electric damage equal to 1,200% ATK (increased by 50%). A large PERSONAL damage jump that turns Trigger into a real on-field damage source — but whale-tier; most stop at M1 (per sportskeeda + triggermains).

Pros
  • A true off-field stunner: stacks Daze and keeps DEF-shred / Break-weakening up from the backline, costing almost no on-field time from the main DPS.
  • Team-wide amplification: Break-weakening and (from M2) whole-team CRIT DMG lift the damage ceiling for any Electric DPS she pairs with.
  • Extremely strong at M0: multiple sources (prydwen/sportskeeda) rate her base version as able to clear all content — great for F2P.
  • Flexible Electric comps: pairs with Soldier 0 Anby, Harumasa, Evelyn, plus supports like Astra Yao / Rina for optimal teams.
Cons
  • Crit-Rate hungry: needs ~90% in-combat CR for her off-field hits to daze properly — demands good discs and nearly forces the 4pc Shadow Harmony set to cover CR.
  • Element-locked: as an Electric stunner she's weakened against Electric-resistant bosses, and she mostly shines only in Electric / Aftershock teams.
  • Thin mindscape value: past M1 (and the M2 CRIT DMG buff), M3/M5 are just flat level-ups, not worth it for average players.

Excellent in Shiyu Defense: an off-field stunner for single-target burst teams (Soldier 0 Anby / Evelyn with Astra Yao) — her DEF-shred and fast stun windows let the DPS dump damage during break, and she's rated a strong stunner for half-clears. Note: if a stage has an Electric-resistant boss, consider swapping sides.

Deadly Assault

Strong in Deadly Assault: against high-HP foes, off-field Aftershock chains plus Break-weakening extend the stun window and stack CRIT DMG buffs (if M2) for the DPS — solid scores when the Electric team is well-built. Weaker on Electric-resistant boss stages.

Basic Attack: Cold-Bore Shot
Press to activate: Unleashes up to 4 shots ahead. The first 3 hits deal Physical DMG, the 4th hit deals Electric DMG.

Basic Attack: Silenced Shot
Hold to activate: Trigger enters the Sniper Stance and fires forward continuously, dealing Electric DMG. While continually firing, when attacked by an enemy, Trigger will automatically evade. This effect can trigger once every 8s. While continually firing, you can drag the to adjust her position to the left/right/back. Automatically evading attacks or adjusting position when about to be hit will trigger a Perfect Dodge, followed by an automatic charged counter. After releasing , Trigger will step back, ready her weapon and unleash a Finishing Move, then exit Sniper Stance. Character is invulnerable during the charged counter and Finishing Move. When the continuous firing or the charged counter hits an enemy, Trigger gains 25 Purge, up to a maximum of 100 Purge. When the Finishing Move hits an enemy, it triggers the Quick Assist of the previous character in the squad. A Quick Assist can only be triggered through this method once every 25s.
