Quick verdict

Very much worth upgrading: one of the best Fire Stunners in the meta. Farm up to 3,400 ATK and 50% CRIT Rate and she'll both lock enemies down and add meaningful off-field damage through her Chain Attack. Keep in mind she needs high ATK and CRIT Rate to fully deliver, but in return she slots flexibly into any Fire team.

Stat targets

Level 60 targets : total ATK ≥ 3,400 to trigger Core Passive Fu-rocious Might (team CRIT DMG buff scaling off her ATK); CRIT Rate ≥ 50% to activate the King of the Summit 4-piece — and since Tiger's Roar self-grants ~80% CRIT DMG, stacking higher CRIT Rate pays off (the community suggests ~69.8% CR / ~79% CD). Take Impact% on Slot 6 to build Daze faster.

Rotation & combos

1) Opener: swap Ju Fufu in, cast EX Special (Enhanced Special) to load Might and pop her Chain, then swap to your carry. 2) Loop: leave her off-field — Hu Wei auto-attacks and builds Might while your carry does the heavy lifting. 3) At 100 Might: swap in, cast EX Special, then Swap-Cancel immediately (cancel the animation) to save your DPS time. 4) At 80 Might / full Decibels: use her Ultimate to refresh the Tiger's Roar buff and refund 300 Decibels to your Attack/Rupture agent. Repeat 2→4.

Pros
  • Extremely low-maintenance: near-automatic off-field, Hu Wei self-attacks and keeps buff uptime near 100% all fight, freeing you to focus on your carry.
  • Unique Decibel buff: raises the whole team's Decibel cap to 4000 and refunds 300 Decibels to your Attack/Rupture agent per Ultimate — can net your DPS 1-3 extra Ultimates per battle.
  • Low dependence on her signature W-Engine and budget-friendly: even on substitute engines she performs her Stun + team CRIT DMG buff role well.
  • Dual role: she both Stuns to lock enemies and contributes meaningful off-field damage via her Chain Attack — not a zero-damage stunner.
Cons
  • Needs a double threshold: you must hit ≥ 3,400 ATK and ≥ 50% CRIT Rate together before her buff and disc set fully activate, demanding good discs.
  • Not a main DPS: she's a stunner/buffer and always needs a strong carry alongside; she can't solo-carry content.
  • Her CRIT DMG buff only helps CRIT-based teams: paired with an Anomaly carry (which scales off Anomaly Proficiency) its value drops sharply.

Endgame mode fit

Shiyu Defense

Fits Shiyu Defense: her all-fight buff uptime plus Decibel refund let your DPS squeeze out extra Ultimates across floors; a standard stunner for Yixuan/Evelyn teams needing fast clears on both halves.

Deadly Assault

Great for Deadly Assault: the Decibel-cap raise plus 300-Decibel refund per Attack/Rupture Ultimate can net 1-3 extra Ultimates per battle for higher scores — her single biggest endgame strength.

Upon activation, all squad members gain the Tiger's Roar effect: CRIT DMG increases by 10%, and when Ju Fufu's initial ATK is greater than or equal to 2800, every additional 100 ATK further increases CRIT DMG by 5%, up to a maximum additional increase of 30%. While in the Tiger's Roar state, character Chain Attack/Ultimate DMG increases by 10%/20%. The Tiger's Roar state lasts for 30s. Repeated triggers reset the duration. Mindscapes — how far is worth it?

M1 Super Scary Little Tiger Worth it

Upon entering combat, Ju Fufu's CRIT Rate increases by 12%, and she immediately gains 100 Might. When Ju Fufu's Chain Attack hits an enemy, when the target is Stunned, the target's Stun DMG Multiplier increases by 35%, lasting for 30s. "The topic of farewells and life and death is too difficult for children to understand, too heavy for adults to bear, and too cruel for the elderly." "But I'm not afraid — I'm the fearless Tiger Thiren who learned this lesson early." "I'm a super scary big tiger, little critters, so please don't look directly into my eyes!"

M2 Almighty Qingming Warrior Situational

While in the Tiger's Roar state, character CRIT DMG increases by an additional 22%. Whenever any character activates an Ultimate, Ju Fufu gains 3 points of Momentum. "The techniques Shifu taught me are truly amazing, though it can't compare to those of fairy tales and legend." "If I were a little stronger — Just a little stronger — could I rewrite those fated pasts, like in the stories and legends? "At first, I was just puzzled, but once you grasp the trick, it's actually quite simple! Let me teach you!"

M3 Righteous Young Hero Low value

Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2. "Good or evil, in that moment, perhaps it's all just a matter of a single thought. A single thought leaves behind so many regrets, so many 'what ifs' — and so much sacrifice and love." "I'm not smart, I don't understand many of those grand principles, so I just do what I think is right." "Wherever the great hero Fufu goes, there's justice!"

M4 Monster-Slaying Tiger Mystic Situational

While Ju Fufu is in the Tiger's Roar state, her CRIT DMG increases by 35%. "Ethereals are terrifying, bandits are terrifying, Hollow Raiders are terrifying, the dark night without stars is terrifying — and yet, I'm the most powerful mystic of Yunkui Summit. I cannot retreat, I cannot let my story repeat." "The dark and gloom is a blanketing shroud, unbearable for mountain, moon, and cloud." "I am the strongest mystic of Yunkui Summit, evil spirits and demons, meet your end!"

M5 Unrivaled Almighty Senior Low value

Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2. "No need to fear — your senior is here!" "The hero I longed for when I was a child never came, but I won't make you wait — I will be your hero." "You can bully me, but not my juniors! I'll take you on! Rwaar!"

M6 Roar of My Inner Tiger Situational

Ju Fufu's Chain Attack DMG increases by 30%. Upon consuming Momentum and hitting an enemy in the high-speed spinning state, fire 3 popcorns, each dealing 160% of Fufu's ATK as DMG. This DMG is treated as Chain Attack DMG. "My might shakes the moon down from the mountain, my aura levels caves — how's this line? Does it capture the grandeur of my imposing presence?" "The name of a hero doesn't matter, their regrets don't matter, their tears don't matter, and even the inevitable farewell doesn't matter." "As long as you remember, I once roared with bravery."

Background & Lore

Ju Fufu, a rare tiger Thiren of New Eridu. She looks small and is still young, but she's the most senior disciple of Suibian Temple and one of Yixuan's first disciples. "Able to deal with anything," "can even make Shifu listen," "super patient and meticulous teacher," "has great taste when choosing restaurants for teambuilding." — Yunkui Summit trainee performance review, peer evaluation "Always messing up the tasks given by Shifu," "doesn't command respect in speech or combat," "doesn't know how to act tough against bad guys," "juniors are more skilled." — Yunkui Summit trainee performance review, self-evaluation "'The most skilled senior ever who can do anything, a righteous hero with righteous might' is what I heard her say when I passed by her room. Hm... I concur." — Yunkui Summit trainee performance review, Shifu's evaluation Other: I suggest you suggest Yunkui Summit improve their network security to avoid the risk of disciples' personal data being stolen or leaked. Increase Trust to Close to unlock more Tiger Thirens, a Thiren race living in the mountains far from New Eridu's urban areas. Using the security camera footage in Janus Quarter, it can be extrapolated that there are no more than twenty tiger Thirens currently active in New Eridu. During the fall of the old capital, a Hollow Zero companion Hollow disaster erupted in the tiger Thiren settlement. Records show that multiple notorious Ethereals appeared in this Hollow that swallowed up their settlement, killing 98 percent of all registered tiger Thirens. Most of the survivors were the sick, young, or elderly. If it hadn't been for a team of mystics from Yunkui Summit arriving within half an hour for search and rescue, the name Ju Fufu would likely have never appeared in your Agent records. From Yunkui Summit's records and dates, Ju Fufu was already a disciple of the leader of Yunkui Summit, Yixuan, when the disaster happened. Belle The most skilled senior ever who can do anything, a righteous hero with righteous might! I didn't expect senior Fufu to have such a side... so adorable! Hm... why does this feel like something Wise would've said? Wise I've never said anything like that! I still haven't totally gotten used to Fufu calling me junior when she looks so small herself, but both in life and in missions, Fufu truly is a reliable senior... How about we accidentally on purpose show her our comments? I bet she'll get really shy but feel super smug inside.

How to read this build page

Every Agent build page has 4 parts: a stat table by level, W-Engine/Drive Disc suggestions, a Mindscape roadmap, and recommended teams. Read them in that order — stats tell you "what you need", gear tells you "where to get it", Mindscape tells you "is it worth pulling", teams tell you "who to pair with". The section below explains how to read each part, and it applies the same way to every character on the site.

How to read the stat table and level

The stat table shows values at the ascension breakpoints (usually the final one, e.g. Lv60) — these are BASE stats with no gear added, useful for comparing Agents or checking whether you've ascended far enough. CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG are shown separately because they set the damage ceiling once Drive Disc substats stack on top. If your real stats are lower than the table, you likely haven't fully ascended or leveled yet — it's not a build mistake.

Why the W-Engine and Drive Disc picks make sense

Most Agents have a "signature" W-Engine designed for their exact role, plus a few cheaper standard-banner substitutes. Missing the signature isn't a dead end — most Agents keep most of their power with a well-matched substitute, just short by some amount of total damage.

  • Drive Disc sets (2pc + 4pc) are picked for the set effect that fits that Agent's playstyle (mono-element, Anomaly, stun, and so on).
  • Substats follow a priority that changes by role: Attack-type Agents usually chase CRIT Rate/CRIT DMG before ATK%; Anomaly-type Agents add Anomaly Proficiency to that mix; Stun/Support roles often value survivability or energy stats over pure CRIT.

These weights differ per character — follow the exact substat priority table above rather than applying one formula to every role.

Is Mindscape worth chasing

General rule: M0 (no duplicates) already clears the game's hardest content, even for S-rank Agents. Mindscape is a duplicate-fueled upgrade system, and each level costs more resources for a smaller power gain. For most Agents, the best value stop is usually M1–M2 (where some key effects unlock), while M6 is almost always for players chasing the absolute ceiling, not a requirement. Check the Mindscape section in the table above for that specific Agent's numbers.

Skill priority by role

There's no single order for every Agent, but the general pattern by role is:

  • Attack: level the main damage skill first (Basic or Special Attack depending on kit), Dash/Dodge last.
  • Stun: prioritize whichever skill builds Daze/Stun fastest, since the stun window is where the whole team dumps damage.
  • Support: prioritize buff or energy-generating skills over personal damage — this role's value comes from lifting the whole team.
  • Anomaly: prioritize the skill that stacks anomaly buildup, since most of the damage comes from the triggered effect, not the direct hit.

Always level the Core Skill steadily alongside the rest — it's a baseline stat that affects the whole rotation, not just one move.

Where to dig deeper

This section only teaches you how to read the page — for deeper comparisons, use the dedicated tools:

  • Teams for full in-game comps, including Bangboo and rotation order.
  • Disc score to check how your current gear scores against the benchmark.

Ju Fufu FAQ

What is the best W-Engine for Ju Fufu?

Ju Fufu performs best with Roaring Fur-nace. See alternatives and required stats in the Gear section above.

Is Ju Fufu worth pulling?

Very much worth upgrading: one of the best Fire Stunners in the meta. Farm up to 3,400 ATK and 50% CRIT Rate and she'll both lock enemies down and add meaningful off-field damage through her Chain Attack. Keep in mind she needs high ATK and CRIT Rate to fully deliver, but in return she slots flexibly into any Fire team.

What is the best team for Ju Fufu?

Ju Fufu works best in the Evelyn Fire Team team. Full members and rotation are in the Teams section.

Who voices Ju Fufu in Zenless Zone Zero?

Ju Fufu (faction Yunkui Summit, birthday Jan 6th) is voiced according to the official credits published on the HoYoverse Wiki. See the full English/Japanese/Korean/Chinese voice actor list in the "Voice Actors & Character Info" block above — this data is pulled directly from the official wiki, not guessed.

Which Mindscape of Ju Fufu is worth investing in?

Ju Fufu has 6 Mindscape tiers (M1-M6), each unlocking its own effect detailed in the "Mindscape" block above (official wording). Mindscapes cost Mindscape Cinema currency farmed from limited banners, so weigh it against your budget — F2P players usually stop at M0-M1 and prioritize W-Engine and Drive Discs before pushing Mindscape higher.

How much Denny and how many materials to level Ju Fufu to Lv60?

Leveling Ju Fufu to max Lv60 (ascension + basic skills to 12 + core skill A→F) costs roughly 1,706,000 Denny, plus role-specific ascension materials, attribute-specific skill chips, high-dimensional data, and weekly boss drops — see the full list with exact quantities in the "Materials Needed" block above, sourced from the game's official leveling tables.
