About GameVika

GameVika is a free set of calculators and reference pages for gacha games. We currently cover 14 games — Honkai: Star Rail, Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, Wuthering Waves, Arknights: Endfield, Neverness to Everness, NIKKE, Reverse:1999, Love and Deepspace, Persona5: The Phantom X, Gakuen Idolmaster, Pokémon TCG Pocket, Chrono Zero and Seven Deadly Sins — in six languages (English, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese and Brazilian Portuguese). Everything is free, there is no account to create, and no feature is locked behind a login.

What we are trying to do

Most gacha questions are arithmetic problems dressed up as opinions: how many pulls until soft pity, is this echo worth levelling, which team clears this floor, how much damage does this build actually do. We build the calculator instead of writing another paragraph of advice, then show the numbers behind it so you can disagree with us on the evidence rather than on vibes.

Where our data comes from

Character stats, skills and item text are pulled from first-party sources wherever one exists: the official HoYoLAB wiki API for HoYoverse titles, HoYoverse's public game APIs, and enka.network for live player profiles. For titles without an official data endpoint we use the community wikis the playerbase itself maintains — including loveanddeepspace.wiki.gg, gamekee.com and game-specific Fandom wikis — plus open datasets published on GitHub. Community usage statistics come from the LvlUrArti open dataset (MIT licence). We do not scrape competitor sites, and we do not rewrite their guides.

How often the pages are refreshed

Redemption codes and event calendars are re-checked automatically every six hours. Character and item databases are re-synced when a game ships a patch. A few games have no public code feed at all — those are updated by hand, and a watchdog job files a warning if any of them goes stale for more than seven days, so a dead page gets noticed by us before it gets noticed by you.

How rankings and calculators are built

Tier lists are not vibes. Each one states the game version it was written for, the mode it assumes, and the reasoning behind every placement. Damage tools implement the game's published formulas rather than curve-fitted estimates. Where a number depends on an assumption — team composition, enemy resistance, investment level — the assumption is shown on the page so you can change it. Our full method is written up on the methodology page.

When we get something wrong

We will. Game data changes mid-patch, sources contradict each other, and translation between six languages introduces errors. Every page carries a report button; reports land in a queue a human reads. If a number is wrong we fix the source of the number, not just the page you happened to find. Corrections that change a recommendation are noted on our changelog.

Independence

GameVika is an independent, self-funded fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by HoYoverse, Kuro Games, Hypergryph, Shift Up, Bluepoch, Papergames, Perfect World, QuantumBloom, The Pokémon Company, Netmarble or any other publisher. All game names, images and trademarks belong to their respective owners. No ranking on this site is paid for, and no publisher has ever reviewed our content before publication.

Contact

Corrections, data errors, feature requests and takedown requests all go to the same place — the contact page. We read everything, and a reply to a data correction usually takes less than a day.
