Very much worth pulling and leveling: she's the No.1 off-field piece for any Anomaly team, with sky-high flexibility and uptime. Her only weakness is that she needs another Anomaly carry on the team to make the most of Disorder — she falls short on her own.

Stat targets

Level 60 targets (game8 + genshinlab tables): beginner Anomaly Proficiency 300 / ATK 2,000; M0 WITH signature AP 350 / ATK 3,000; M0 WITHOUT signature AP 400 / ATK 2,500. Core threshold: reach Anomaly Proficiency >=300 to cap her Core Passive, then pile ATK; also stack Energy Regen because Burnice is very energy-hungry to keep Heat/uptime (per gamewith). Main stats: slot 4 Anomaly Proficiency, slot 5 Fire DMG, slot 6 Energy Regen (or ATK%). Substat priority: Anomaly Proficiency > ATK% > PEN > Anomaly Mastery.

Rotation & combos

1) OPENER: enter and use EX Special (prefer the enhanced 2-stage) to build Heat (Ignition Point) and enter Super Fuel. 2) Hold Basic / enhanced EX Special to apply Burn to the enemy. 3) LOOP: swap to your main carry (Yanagi/Miyabi/Jane...) — Burnice keeps pumping Ember off-field and triggers Disorder with the carry's anomaly. 4) When Heat is about to run out, bring Burnice in to re-apply Burn, then quick-swap out again. 5) BREAK/BURST: when the enemy is Stunned, fire Burnice's Chain/Ult then Quick-Assist swap to stack hits simultaneously (per gamewith/game8).

Mindscapes — how far is worth it?
M1 Worth it

Kindred Flames — the #1 jump and the STOP POINT TO AIM FOR (game8 + gamewith both recommend M1, but buy her signature Flamemaker Shaker FIRST, then the mindscape): raises Heat (Ignition Point) cap 100→140 and starts battle with 40 Heat, so chaining Ult <-> EX Special is far smoother; Ember DMG +100% of ATK; Fire anomaly buildup +25%. About +10% dmg, but the real win is rotation uptime/smoothness (per game8/gamewith/genshinlab).

M2 Situational

Extra at No Additional Charge — applies 'Piercing Enthusiasm' up to 5 stacks, each +4% PEN Ratio → up to +20% team-wide PEN (per gamewith/game8). ~+12% dmg on elites. Downside: it needs time to ramp, so it's weaker in short fights / quick trash clears. A worthwhile secondary stop once you have M1 + signature.

M3 Low value

Basic / Dodge / Assist / Special / Chain all +2 levels. A flat bump with no gameplay change — a stepping stone to M4, low value.

M4 Low value

EX Special & Assist Follow-up gain +30% Crit Rate and EX Special II lasts 1s longer (per genshinlab). Mostly smooths the rotation with a small bump — not worth pulling for on its own.

M5 Low value

Basic / Dodge / Assist / Special / Chain all +2 levels again. Still just flat numbers, a bridge to M6 — low value.

M6 Worth it

Burning Invitation — the second big jump (~+20% dmg): during EX Special II she ignores 25% of the enemy's Fire RES and each hit triggers a special Ember (game8 lists +1800% Burn). Very strong but whale-tier — most players stop at M1 (or M2); only those with spare resources aim straight for M6 (M3-M5 are filler).

Pros
  • Best off-field: she's almost the ONLY agent who deals damage even while benched (constant Ember + Burn) — extremely high anomaly uptime without stealing field time from the carry.
  • Extremely flexible: pairs with almost EVERY anomaly carry; just one off-element partner is enough to trigger Disorder very frequently (per game8/gamewith).
  • Strong burst finisher: after her Ult, Quick-Assist lets Burnice stack hits alongside the incoming agent; M1 chains Ult <-> EX Special smoothly for near-seamless uptime.
Cons
  • Energy-hungry: needs a good chunk of Energy Regen to sustain Heat and her EX/Ult loop; short on ER and her uptime drops sharply (per gamewith).
  • Can't stand alone: low on-field damage, needs an off-element carry to detonate Disorder — a pure mono-Fire team wastes her.
  • M2 ramps slowly: 'Piercing Enthusiasm' takes time to reach 5 stacks, so it underperforms in short fights / quick trash clears.

Excellent in Shiyu Defense: benched Burnice keeps Ember + Burn flowing so damage never stops while the carry works the field, helping clear one side fast; fits both single-target and Calydon Disorder teams (per game8/gamewith).

Deadly Assault

Also very strong in Deadly Assault: the long high-HP boss fights are exactly where M2 'Piercing Enthusiasm' + off-field Ember pile anomaly/Disorder on multiple foes — Burnice is regularly a top-scoring glue for Disorder teams (Ice-Fire with Miyabi, Electric-Fire with Yanagi).

Ultimate: Glorious Inferno
When Decibel Rating is at Maximum, press to activate: Dash forward quickly, then leap into the air and continuously spray flames over a wide area ahead, dealing massive Fire DMG. When leaping into the air, a Quick Assist will be triggered. If the Quick Assist is activated, Burnice will extend the duration of her flame spray. Upon activation, recover 50 Heat. Character is invulnerable while using this skill.

Core Skill3

Core Passive: Nitro-Fuel Cocktail
When Burnice expends Energy, she accumulates Heat, up to a max of 100. She gains 1.4 Heat for each 1 point of Energy consumed. At 50 Heat, she enters the Nitro-Fuel Cocktail state until all Heat is expended. Upon entering the battlefield, Burnice instantly accumulates 100 Heat. While in the Nitro-Fuel Cocktail state, when Burnice hits an enemy with a Basic Attack: Mixed Flame Blend, EX Special Attack, Chain Attack, or Ultimate, she applies the Scorched effect to the target until she exits the Nitro-Fuel Cocktail state. When other squad members hit enemies under the Scorched status, it triggers the Afterburn effect, expending 8 Heat to deal Fire DMG equal to 175% of Burnice's ATK and accumulate Fire Anomaly Buildup. This effect can trigger once every 1.5s. For every 10 Anomaly Proficiency, Afterburn DMG increases by 1%, up to a max of 30%. DMG from the Afterburn effect is considered Assist Attack DMG.

Additional Ability: Fire Kindling
When another character in your squad is an Anomaly character or shares the same Faction: When Burnice's Basic Attack: Mixed Flame Blend, EX Special Attack: Intense Heat Stirring Method or EX Special Attack: Intense Heat Stirring Method - Double Shot hits an enemy, or when the Afterburn effect is triggered, the move's accumulated Fire Anomaly Buildup increases by 65%. When any squad member applies the Burn effect to an enemy, the duration of that effect is extended by 3s.

Awakened Potential: Boiling Point Party
When Burnice's initial Energy Regen is greater than or equal to 1.8, every extra 0.1 points of initial Energy Regen increases Anomaly Mastery by 1 and DMG by 1%, up to a maximum increase of 25 Anomaly Mastery and 20% DMG.
