Quick verdict

Only build her if you already happen to own her — don't prioritize pulling her fresh: Grace is still usable but has clearly been power-crept, with damage far behind newer Electric Anomaly units. She's fine for an F2P account short on Electric DPS, but if you have Yanagi/Vivian, Grace drops to the bench.

Stat targets

Grace is a pure Anomaly unit — do NOT build CRIT (base CRIT only 5%/50%). Main stats: Slot 4 Anomaly Proficiency · Slot 5 Electric DMG (or ATK%) · Slot 6 ATK% (or Anomaly Mastery for Disorder teams). Substat priority: Anomaly Proficiency > ATK% ≈ Electric DMG > PEN. Base AP at Lv1 ~115 (per genshinlab). No public locked Lv60 stat table exists, so keep it qualitative: stack Anomaly Proficiency as high as possible (Disorder comps with Yanagi want total AP around the ~375 threshold to fire Yanagi engine's Disorder-DMG buff, per kit description). If a partner detonates Disorder, weight some Anomaly Mastery for faster gauge fill; if Grace self-applies Shock on-field, lean Proficiency for debuff damage.

Rotation & combos

1) OPENER: fire EX Special (grenades) to quickly apply Shock; if Energy is short, use normal Special first. 2) Alternate Special → Dodge → Special → Dodge → Special → Basic to build Zap stacks and keep Shock up while dodging (per genshinlab). 3) DISORDER TEAM: once Grace has applied Shock, quick-swap to a partner (Yanagi/Piper) to detonate Disorder, then swap back — Grace only needs enough field time to refresh Shock. 4) ON-FIELD SHOCK TEAM: keep Grace on-field and loop EX Special whenever Energy allows, as it's her strongest Anomaly-buildup source. 5) ULT/Chain: slot into the Stunner's (Qingyi/Anby) stun window for burst, then return to step 2.

Mindscapes — how far is worth it?
M1 Situational

Recharge Chamber: when Grace's basic attacks hit, the whole squad gains extra Energy (cap ~2 per move). Just rotation lubricant — slightly faster EX Special and Ultimate uptime, no damage change.

M2 Worth it

Burst Capacitor: when her grenades (Special/EX Special) hit, the target's Electric RES and Anomaly Buildup RES drop by 8.5% for 8s (per gamerant/genshinlab). The ideal stopping point for most players: it lifts Grace's own Shock damage AND buffs the whole Electric/Disorder team — the best value-per-resource of her six mindscapes.

M3 Low value

Basic Attack, Dodge and Assist +2 levels. Flat number bump with no gameplay change — low value, just a stepping stone to M4.

M4 Situational

Detonation Trigger: after EX Special, Grace gains up to 6 Charge stacks; each basic/dash hit consumes 1 stack and boosts that hit's Energy Generation by 20% (per gamerant). Mostly an energy-refund tool for faster Ult/EX cycling with a little extra output — small bump, not worth pulling for on its own.

M5 Low value

Special, Chain and Core +2 levels. Still just flat numbers, a bridge to M6 — low value.

M6 Worth it

Lightning Piercer: when all Zap stacks are consumed for a Special/EX Special, the skill is enhanced — tosses an extra grenade and raises each grenade's DMG to 200% (per gamerant). The biggest personal-damage jump, turning Grace from a background Shock-applier into a real damage source — but whale-tier; most players stop at M2.

Pros
  • Excellent background Shock-applier: Shocked enemies keep taking damage even while Grace is off-field, so she pairs with an Attacker to max total damage.
  • Very mobile: her dodge/dash and Special combos keep Shock uptime high while dodging well.
  • Flexible in teams: works in both Electric Disorder (Yanagi) and classic Shock (Rina/Qingyi) comps, easy to slot for F2P accounts short on Electric DPS.
  • Cheap for what she does: runs well on signature Fusion Compiler or even A-rank Electro-Lip Gloss, and isn't as mindscape-hungry as many newer DPS.
Cons
  • Clearly power-crept: newer Electric Anomaly units (Yanagi, Vivian) far outdamage her; Grace is now mostly a support/Shock-applier and struggles to solo-carry.
  • Best results need a proper Disorder partner + Electric buffer; standing alone on-field her output is mediocre by current standards.
  • No CRIT avenue: all her damage rides on Anomaly Proficiency and Shock coverage, so her ceiling is hard-capped and can't spike.

Endgame mode fit
Shiyu Defense

Serviceable in Shiyu Defense but no longer a top pick: best in single/dual-target Disorder teams with Yanagi to pile Disorder damage in the stun window. Solo against high-HP bosses she trails newer Anomaly units, so treat her as a support/Shock-applier rather than a half-map carry.

Deadly Assault

Shines more in Deadly Assault thanks to multiple foes: Grace spreads Shock widely and lets Yanagi/Piper detonate Disorder to stack anomalies on several high-HP targets at once — solid scores with an optimized Electric Disorder team, though she still needs a buffer (Yuzuha/Rina) and a Stunner for top ranks.
