Awakened Forest
Under Xavier's guidance, the Main Character uses her Evol to unlock the Flux Nexus — revealed to be a stone sculpture absorbing Metaflux to reconstruct an Aeonwyrm, the most dangerous species of Wanderer. Their timely action stops the revival, but the fluctuation data makes clear someone deliberately set this in motion, and if an Aeonwyrm actually reached Linkon City the consequences would be dire. While waiting to unlock it, the Main Character reminds Xavier of his promise from 01-05 to 'explain everything' — he still dodges, calling it 'a long story,' though he admits that since they're now on the same team, they'll have time to figure things out. Inside the statue is a Protocore unlike any the Main Character has seen before. This chapter confirms Xavier holds specialized knowledge about the Flux Nexus that even the Association doesn't have, continuing directly from the mystery in 03-04/03-05 and opening up the Aeonwyrm threat that carries into 03-07/03-08.
