How Wish pity works
X-axis = pulls since your last 5★ · Y-axis = the odds of a 5★ at that exact pull.
- Base 5★ rate is 1% per Wish, from pull 1 through pull 60.
- Soft pity: from pull ≈61 (estimated), the odds climb 10% per pull — pull 61 ≈ 11%, pull 65 ≈ 51%, pull 69 ≈ 91%.
- Hard pity: pull 70 GUARANTEES a 5★ if you haven't gotten one already.
- 4★ has its own pity: you're guaranteed at least one 4★ every 10 Wishes.
- 5★ pity (the count toward hard pity 70) carries over between different Deepspace Wish (limited) banners — it doesn't reset when the banner changes, but it does NOT carry over to Empyrean Wish (the permanent pool).
The featured rate DEPENDS on the Deepspace Wish banner type: Single Featured (1 card) and Two Featured (2 cards) — each 5★ has a 50% chance of being a featured card (Two Featured splits that 50% between the two); Three Featured (3 cards) — 75%, split evenly across the three. If a 5★ is NOT featured, the guarantee locks in: your NEXT 5★ is guaranteed featured — and on Three Featured specifically, Precise Wish lets you lock one specific target card, so once a non-target 5★ lands (banking one Wish Point) your next 5★ is guaranteed to be your chosen card.
Every number here is sourced, never guessed — but the sources are not all equal, so here is exactly what backs what. Two independent community sources agree on: 1% base 5★ rate, soft pity from pull ≈61 (an estimate — the exact threshold has never been officially confirmed), hard pity at pull 70, and one guaranteed 4★ every 10 pulls. The 75% rate on triple-featured banners and the Precise Wish guarantee come from the developer's own notice "About Pity System and Precise Wish". The 50% featured rate on single/double banners is community-derived only — treat it as an estimate, not an official figure.
This calculator only models the verified 5★ mechanic (base/soft/hard pity + banner-dependent featured rate + guarantee/Precise Wish) from multiple independent community sources. It CANNOT: know your real pity for you (the game hides it, so you must count and enter it correctly); model 4★ pity separately (it doesn't affect 5★ odds, so it isn't simulated here); or carry counts over into Empyrean Wish (the permanent pool runs on a different mechanic).
