Heart Toward Resonance
Trapped in a warehouse swarming with Luminivores (light-eating Wanderers) alongside the mysterious stranger from 01-02/01-03, the Main Character watches him crush a Protocore the moment it falls into his hand — an action that arouses her suspicion, since that fragment could have offered useful intel. The still-unnamed stranger pulls her deeper into the warehouse, insisting they became prey the moment they stepped inside. She realizes his Light Evol is exactly what the Luminivores are drawn to, and starts to wonder if this trap was set specifically for him. She proposes using him as bait so they can Resonate together and wipe out the swarm in one strike. His identity (Xavier) is still withheld as a spoiler tag here; the chapter continues directly from the 01-03 battle and leads into 01-05, where the Resonance plan succeeds and he finally reveals himself.
