Characters Who Use This Set

Full-set fit

Worn for the 4-piece only

These characters are a different element — the 2-piece elemental DMG bonus does nothing for them; they wear the set purely for the 4-piece effect.

2-piece or 4-piece?

Depends on the character: some only need the 2-piece bonus (mixing with another set), others need the full 4-piece to benefit from the main effect — check the two character lists above to see which group you fall into.

What main stat to run, by role

Getting the main stat on the right slot is the baseline — substats aimed the right direction decide your real power. The table below is a default framework by role, useful for a quick lookup before you know a specific character's kit.
BodyFeetPlanar SphereLink RopeSub-stat priority
Main DPSCRIT Rate or CRIT DMGATK% or SPDthe character's own Elemental DMG BoostATK% (or Break Effect for a break-focused kit)CRIT comes first — aim for roughly a 1:2 ratio of CRIT Rate to CRIT DMG — then ATK%, then SPD.
HealerHP% or Outgoing Healing BoostHP%HP%Energy Regeneration Rate or HP%HP% first, then SPD — healing output scales off the target's Max HP.

SupportNo safe default — depends on the character's kit, check that character's pageSPD, almost always correctNo safe default — depends on the character's kit, check that character's pageEnergy Regeneration RateSPD first; add Effect Hit Rate if the character applies debuffs.

This is a default framework, not a hard rule. Some characters break from it because of their own kit — for example a support that needs CRIT DMG or Break Effect instead of Energy Regeneration Rate. Always check that character's page before locking in a set.

Basic rules you need before picking Relics

  • Head always rolls flat HP, Hands always roll flat ATK — no need to check the main stat on these two, just look at the substats.
  • Only Feet can roll SPD as a main stat; only the Link Rope can roll Energy Regeneration Rate as a main stat.
  • A substat never duplicates that piece's own main stat, and the four substats never duplicate each other.
  • Each piece caps at 4 substats. Every +3 upgrade grants one roll — either unlocking a new substat line or boosting an existing one at random.
  • Enhancement cap by rarity: 2-star +6, 3-star +9, 4-star +12, 5-star +15. Starting substat count: 3-star 1–2 lines, 4-star 2–3 lines, 5-star 3–4 lines.
  • The main stat is NOT random — at the level cap it's always the exact same fixed number. Only substats roll randomly.
  • Quick filter trick: enhance to +9 and you already see enough substat quality to decide keep-or-salvage — don't burn all your resources to +15 before judging.

Should you keep or salvage this piece?

  • Wrong main stat for the slot (e.g. an HP% Sphere on a Lightning DPS) → salvage it right away, don't get attached.
  • Right main stat but the 4 substats don't have even one line of CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG / SPD (for a DPS role) → low value, salvage first.
  • Right main stat plus at least 2 substats you actually need from the start → enhance to +9 and reassess — this piece is worth investing in.

Where can you get Relics?

Relics unlock during the Belobog story arc. To target the exact set and slot you need instead of farming blind, use the Omni-Synthesizer: it runs on Relic Remains, which you get by salvaging Relics you don't use. The machine unlocks from Equilibrium Level 3 onward.

Every piece & its lore

Eagle's Beaked HelmetHead

An aerodynamic helmet used in high-speed flights. It is shaped like the beak of a skyfish eagle.

Every day at dawn, Salsotto's skyfishers would depart from the moving city's skyport, soaring in the air with their winged suits, hunting for phlogiston jellyfish that flew out of the sand.

Phlogiston, an essential component of the Phase Flame, was the blood of the colossal moving city. Phlogiston must be sufficiently captured and gathered to ensure that the whole city could always stay ahead before the twilight zone that divided day and night.

If any skyfishers died from exhaustion or were attacked by giant birds, Salsottians would spare no effort in bringing back their remains and would bury their winged suits and eagle helmets with them in the dark land. According to the traditional Salsottian rituals, "landing" equals death and is a symbol of eternal rest.

The flight must never stop, just like how the city must never stop moving.

This eagle helmet has a short condolence message carved on its beak: "Landing is not the eagles' shackle, wings are, because of which you have to fly."
Eagle's Soaring RingHands

A ring worn by an outstanding skyfisher master, with a pair of skyfish eagle's wings holding tight the wearer's finger.

Only the most skilled, respected, and reliable skyfisher captains would receive a Soaring Ring. They blew their fishing whistles in the sky and seamlessly coordinated with one another, like they were the most sharp-eyed hunting eagles.

For the duration of each flight, each team member was lonely and vulnerable. All they could rely on were the 124 types of whistles that could be performed by their team captain.

Hence, there had long been a saying in Salsotto — "Skyfishers entrusted one-third of their lives to the rigorously developed technology, one-third to their ingeniously refined equipment, and one-third to their reliable lead skyfisher captain."

Being asked by so many families to take care of their skyfisher children, the team captain constantly felt the burden of this little ring he wore.

This Soaring Ring's etching was mottled, with one word engraved on the inner side of the ring: "Duty."
Eagle's Winged Suit HarnessBody

A belt harness that connects the winged suit with metal supports embedded in thick linen. Soft and tight-fitting.

It was no easy feat for Salsotto's skyfishers to entrap and hunt phlogiston jellyfish that flew out of the sand. During turbulent flights, the seemingly tender and soft safety harness was the thread of life for a skyfisher.

Hunting phlogiston jellyfish was never easy. From trick moves to intense chasing, from precise blocking to the final capturing act, one wrong move in any one of these links in the chain could mean mortal danger.

It was customary for a young skyfisher to get one strand of hair from each parent and weave them into the harness with metal supports, while a married one should get one from their spouse. In this manner, the harness would be blessed by the power of "home" and ensure that the skyfisher always returned safely.

In this cruel world where all fought hard for survival, "home" was the only place that could offer comfort and support for a skyfisher.

The hair inside this harness was still intact, with a faint white at the root. It came from a female.
Eagle's Quilted PutteesFeet

Puttees to keep the legs warm during flights, decorated with a skyfish eagle's bristle feathers.

Hunting phlogiston jellyfish was a long survival game for skyfishers from Salsotto. Legs, being far from the heart, can only maintain their temperature when tightly strapped in fluffy feather puttees.

Only at the end of the long and highly stressful hunt would an exhausted skyfisher begin to feel pain and fatigue.

For those unprepared, it would be too late to discover their partial necrosis caused by severe frostbite. Therefore, skyfishers would check if they had tightened their puttees many times before taking off. After all, they wouldn't get another chance to do so in high-speed flight.

They knew what the wind would take away as they stepped into the sky.

Traces of lime powder and aluminum powder were found in the metal shell embedded in the puttee, which seemed to be a means of emergency heating.

How to read this relic set page

Cavern Relics have 4 pieces: Head and Hand always carry fixed flat stats (HP and ATK), so only Body and Feet have a random main-stat you actually choose. The 2-piece effect unlocks with 2 out of 4 pieces from the same set; the 4-piece effect is stronger but needs all 4 and usually has its own trigger condition — read the exact text above before committing. Planar Ornaments only have 2 pieces (Planar Sphere + Link Rope) and only ever have one 2-piece effect, there is no 4-piece version.

The two types also differ in where you get them: Cavern Relics drop from the Cavern of Corrosion and cost Trailblaze Power per run; Planar Ornaments come from the Simulated Universe or Divergent Universe, which do NOT cost Trailblaze Power — you trade for them with items or completion rewards instead. A full loadout usually combines one 4-piece Cavern set (or two different Cavern sets at 2 pieces each) with one 2-piece Planar set — go 4-piece when that set gives a large, reliable damage buff, and mix 2+2 when you need to stack several smaller stats (e.g. ATK% from one set plus Elemental DMG% from another).

The "who should use this" list is pulled from cross-sourced build consensus and updates automatically as the meta shifts, it is not hand-picked. See the full set table on the Relics page, or check terms in the HSR Glossary.
