How Equations Activate & the Most Common Combos

Every Equation is tied to one main Path — hold enough Blessings/Curios of that Path and it activates. 277 out of 302 Equations also need a secondary Path at their own count — BOTH must be met at once to trigger (the higher the rarity, the harder the dual requirement).

Top 5 most common Path combos (counted across all Equations)

Harmony + Nihility · 14 Equations Elation + Harmony · 11 Equations Remembrance + Harmony · 10 Equations Erudition + Harmony · 9 Equations Destruction + Remembrance · 8 Equations

Tip: if your run is already leaning toward 1-2 Paths, keep stacking that same Path instead of spreading thin — the combos above are the easiest to complete since they show up across the most Equations.

How is the Divergent Universe different from the Simulated Universe?

The Divergent Universe shares its Blessing/Curio pool with the Simulated Universe but adds the Equation mechanic: once the Blessings you hold match a required Path combination and count (for example 3 Elation Blessings + 2 Erudition Blessings), a special Blessing automatically unlocks with its own story text taken verbatim from official data. There's also a "Path Echo" tier of Equations that requires a large number of Blessings from a single Path only, with no secondary Path required.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do Equations work?

Each Equation is tied to a main Path (and sometimes a secondary Path) plus a minimum Blessing count. Once met, it rewards a special Blessing unique to that Equation, not found in the regular Simulated Universe.

How is the "Path Echo" tier different from regular Equations?

This group of Equations only requires stacking a large number of Blessings into a single Path (no secondary Path needed), and the reward is usually strong and thematically tied to that Path's identity.

Are Divergent Universe Blessings and Curios the same as the Simulated Universe's?

Most share the same catalog as the Simulated Universe (same official data source), plus a handful of Blessings exclusive to the Divergent Universe (used for Equations) — this page merges them exactly as the data shows, without guessing further.

What about duplicate Blessings in the Divergent Universe?

The same upgrade-on-duplicate mechanic applies as in the Simulated Universe — see the Simulated Universe page for details.
