Corin
Quick verdict

As an older A-rank, her damage ceiling trails the newer S-rank DPS, and she only shines in the enemy's Stun window. Worth leveling if you already own her (free from Inter-Knot), but don't sink rare resources into her if you have an S-rank option; she needs a proper Stun team to perform.

Stat targets

Reference targets (peraggregator): ATK 2,500+ / Crit Rate 70%+ / Crit DMG 140%+. There is no first-party stat table from the community for Corin (an old A-rank), so treat these as directional: the core goal is maxing CRIT (Rate ≈ DMG, land ~65-75% in-combat Crit Rate so bursts don't whiff), then Physical DMG% and ATK%. Substat priority: Crit Rate / Crit DMG → ATK% → PEN → ATK ( +agree qualitatively). Mains: slot 4 Crit Rate/Crit DMG · slot 5 Physical DMG · slot 6 ATK%.

Rotation & combos

Corin is a finisher — only bring her on once the enemy is Stunned. 1) Let the stunner (Lycaon / Caesar / Koleda) hold the field building Daze until the enemy is Stunned. 2) On Stun, swap Corin in via Chain Attack (her entry hit). 3) SPAM EX Special 'Get Ready~☆' — the chainsaw chain has a massive multiplier and super-armor anti-interrupt, dumped entirely into the stun window. 4) Weave in Ultimate as a finisher once Decibels are full. 5) As the Stun runs out, swap Corin OUT immediately (she stands still while firing and is very exposed). 6) Repeat: return to the stunner to rebuild Daze for the next Stun.

Pros
  • Monstrous EX Special multiplier: her 'Get Ready~☆' chainsaw out-damages many agents' Ultimates — huge single-target burst in the stun window.
  • Super-armor anti-interrupt while revving the chainsaw — once she commits, the combo is almost impossible to knock off.
  • Cheap and F2P-friendly: an old A-rank obtainable/upgradable through free Interknot/Signal channels, a solid Physical DPS for beginners without an S-rank.
  • Simple, easy-to-slot teams: just needs one good stunner (Lycaon/Caesar) + a support, no rare anomaly engine required.
Cons
  • Must STAND STILL during EX Special → very exposed; she practically requires the enemy Stunned/controlled and is weak against mobile or multi-target fights.
  • Old-gen A-rank: her damage ceiling clearly trails modern S-tier DPS, only shining in the stun window and needing tight timing.
  • Heavily dependent on a strong stunner and a slow ramp — if the Stun whiffs or is short, her entire damage turn is wasted.

Recommended Bangboo

Butler — Standard S-rank bangboo for a single DPS: it heals and feeds Energy to... Sumoboo — An accessible A-rank pick that boosts damage/support for burst teams —...

Endgame mode fit

Shiyu Defense

Reasonable in Shiyu Defense: single-target / boss floors let Corin dump EX Special in the stun window — with a proper stun core (Lycaon + support) she can still clear a side cleanly. But as an old A-rank, don't expect top scores against modern S DPS.

Deadly Assault

Harder in Deadly Assault: mobile high-HP bosses plus a sustained-output demand expose Corin's 'stand-still, needs-Stun' weakness. Still playable with a strong stunner keeping long Stun uptime, but usually not the optimal pick for this mode.

Mindscapes — how far is worth it?

M1 Open Trauma Situational

When Corin's Chain Attack or Ultimate hits an enemy, her DMG against the target increases by 12% for 15s. "The young mistress always said, if something's worth doing, it's worth focusing on." "I've been practicing, and I can do it now!" "But... are you watching me...?"

M2 Atomic Smash Situational

When Corin's EX Special Attack, Chain Attack or Ultimate hits an enemy, the target's Physical RES is reduced by 0.5%, stacking up to 20 times and lasting 5s. The duration of each stack is calculated separately. "Sorry, Mr. or Ms. Ethereal!" "But I've got work to do... I really am sorry!" Feeling guilty, Corin sincerely apologizes to the monster — as she wields her savage chainsaw, slicing through the enemies in her way.

M3 Amateur Maid Worth it

Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2 "I—I'll do my best to become a good maid!" Corin said, walking towards the Ethereals, chainsaw in hand.

M4 Battlefield Retainer Low value

When Corin uses a Quick Assist, Defensive Assist, or Chain Attack, she recovers 7.2 Energy. This effect can trigger once every 16s. A diligent and serious young maid, Corin always puts her heart and soul into everything she does. Of course, that includes taking out enemies in combat.

M5 Special Ops Maid Worth it

Basic Attack, Dodge, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2 "Uh... sorry, I'm so clumsy. I don't know how to make sure my cuts are even..." —Said Corin as she looked down at the bits of Ethereal scattered across the ground.

M6 Accumulated Release Worth it

When Corin's extended slash hits an enemy, she obtains a stack of Charge (max 40 stacks). During a Dodge Counter, Special Attack, EX Special Attack, Quick Assist, or Assist Follow-Up, when her chainsaw detonation hits an enemy, consumes all stacks of Charge. Each stack consumed causes the attack to deal an additional 3% of ATK as DMG. Corin knows that she isn't the most powerful of maids, nor the smartest. But she hopes to become the hardest working. She puts to good use everything she's ever learned.

Background & Lore

Corin is one of the maids working for Victoria Housekeeping Co. She is a highly obedient maid but lacks confidence and often fears being disliked by others. When in a rush, she becomes flustered and stutters. Corin is always apologizing no matter what happens. "I… I… I'm so sorry! I'm so incompetent…I'll never get things right…" Corin never, however, fails to fulfill her tasks with excellence and is one of the most reliable members of Victoria Housekeeping Co. Despite her flawless performance, Corin remains skeptical about her abilities, constantly worrying about being a burden to her colleagues, which can sometimes frustrate Lycaon. Thoughts: Is Corin's personality innate, shaped by her life experiences? Increase Trust to Close to unlock more Corin's health record reveals that before joining Victoria Housekeeping, she faced a critical illness and underwent major surgery. Belle Corin is excellent at her work, but why does she lack confidence in herself…? If only I could share half of my confidence with her! Wise Some people are just introverted and sensitive. Fortunately, Corin's companions have complete faith in her capabilities. Belle, let's encourage her whenever we have the opportunity.

How to read this build page

Every Agent build page has 4 parts: a stat table by level, W-Engine/Drive Disc suggestions, a Mindscape roadmap, and recommended teams. Read them in that order — stats tell you "what you need", gear tells you "where to get it", Mindscape tells you "is it worth pulling", teams tell you "who to pair with". The section below explains how to read each part, and it applies the same way to every character on the site.

How to read the stat table and level

The stat table shows values at the ascension breakpoints (usually the final one, e.g. Lv60) — these are BASE stats with no gear added, useful for comparing Agents or checking whether you've ascended far enough. CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG are shown separately because they set the damage ceiling once Drive Disc substats stack on top. If your real stats are lower than the table, you likely haven't fully ascended or leveled yet — it's not a build mistake.

Why the W-Engine and Drive Disc picks make sense

Most Agents have a "signature" W-Engine designed for their exact role, plus a few cheaper standard-banner substitutes. Missing the signature isn't a dead end — most Agents keep most of their power with a well-matched substitute, just short by some amount of total damage.

  • Drive Disc sets (2pc + 4pc) are picked for the set effect that fits that Agent's playstyle (mono-element, Anomaly, stun, and so on).
  • Substats follow a priority that changes by role: Attack-type Agents usually chase CRIT Rate/CRIT DMG before ATK%; Anomaly-type Agents add Anomaly Proficiency to that mix; Stun/Support roles often value survivability or energy stats over pure CRIT.

These weights differ per character — follow the exact substat priority table above rather than applying one formula to every role.

Is Mindscape worth chasing

General rule: M0 (no duplicates) already clears the game's hardest content, even for S-rank Agents. Mindscape is a duplicate-fueled upgrade system, and each level costs more resources for a smaller power gain. For most Agents, the best value stop is usually M1–M2 (where some key effects unlock), while M6 is almost always for players chasing the absolute ceiling, not a requirement. Check the Mindscape section in the table above for that specific Agent's numbers.

Skill priority by role

There's no single order for every Agent, but the general pattern by role is:

  • Attack: level the main damage skill first (Basic or Special Attack depending on kit), Dash/Dodge last.
  • Stun: prioritize whichever skill builds Daze/Stun fastest, since the stun window is where the whole team dumps damage.
  • Support: prioritize buff or energy-generating skills over personal damage — this role's value comes from lifting the whole team.
  • Anomaly: prioritize the skill that stacks anomaly buildup, since most of the damage comes from the triggered effect, not the direct hit.

Always level the Core Skill steadily alongside the rest — it's a baseline stat that affects the whole rotation, not just one move.

Corin FAQ

What is the best W-Engine for Corin?

Corin performs best with Steel Cushion. See alternatives and required stats in the Gear section above.

Is Corin worth pulling?

As an older A-rank, her damage ceiling trails the newer S-rank DPS, and she only shines in the enemy's Stun window. Worth leveling if you already own her (free from Inter-Knot), but don't sink rare resources into her if you have an S-rank option; she needs a proper Stun team to perform.

What is the best team for Corin?

Corin works best in the Classic Physical Stun team. Full members and rotation are in the Teams section.

Who voices Corin in Zenless Zone Zero?

Corin (faction Victoria Housekeeping Co., birthday June 2) is voiced according to the official credits published on the HoYoverse Wiki. See the full English/Japanese/Korean/Chinese voice actor list in the "Voice Actors & Character Info" block above — this data is pulled directly from the official wiki, not guessed.

Which Mindscape of Corin is worth investing in?

Corin has 6 Mindscape tiers (M1-M6), each unlocking its own effect detailed in the "Mindscape" block above (official wording). Mindscapes cost Mindscape Cinema currency farmed from limited banners, so weigh it against your budget — F2P players usually stop at M0-M1 and prioritize W-Engine and Drive Discs before pushing Mindscape higher.

How much Denny and how many materials to level Corin to Lv60?

Leveling Corin to max Lv60 (ascension + basic skills to 12 + core skill A→F) costs roughly 1,706,000 Denny, plus role-specific ascension materials, attribute-specific skill chips, high-dimensional data, and weekly boss drops — see the full list with exact quantities in the "Materials Needed" block above, sourced from the game's official leveling tables.
