4: CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG · 5: Physical DMG · 6: ATK%
CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG → ATK% → PEN → ATK
Skill priority: EX Special → Basic Attack → Assist → Dodge
As an older A-rank, her damage ceiling trails the newer S-rank DPS, and she only shines in the enemy's Stun window. Worth leveling if you already own her (free from Inter-Knot), but don't sink rare resources into her if you have an S-rank option; she needs a proper Stun team to perform.
Reference targets (per mistermenplays, an aggregator): ATK 2,500+ / Crit Rate 70%+ / Crit DMG 140%+. There is no first-party stat table from game8/prydwen for Corin (an old A-rank), so treat these as directional: the core goal is maxing CRIT (Rate ≈ DMG, land ~65-75% in-combat Crit Rate so bursts don't whiff), then Physical DMG% and ATK%. Substat priority: Crit Rate / Crit DMG → ATK% → PEN → ATK (game8 + prydwen + genshinlab agree qualitatively). Mains: slot 4 Crit Rate/Crit DMG · slot 5 Physical DMG · slot 6 ATK%.
Corin is a finisher — only bring her on once the enemy is Stunned. 1) Let the stunner (Lycaon / Caesar / Koleda) hold the field building Daze until the enemy is Stunned. 2) On Stun, swap Corin in via Chain Attack (her entry hit). 3) SPAM EX Special 'Get Ready~☆' — the chainsaw chain has a massive multiplier and super-armor anti-interrupt, dumped entirely into the stun window. 4) Weave in Ultimate as a finisher once Decibels are full. 5) As the Stun runs out, swap Corin OUT immediately (she stands still while firing and is very exposed). 6) Repeat: return to the stunner to rebuild Daze for the next Stun.
When Corin's Chain Attack or Ultimate hits an enemy, her DMG against that target +12% for 15s. Just a light amp on her own burst — easy uptime inside the stun window but a modest bump.
EX Special / Chain Attack / Ultimate hits reduce the target's Physical RES by 0.5%, stacking up to 20 times (−10%) for 5s. Self-stacks fast during her chainsaw spam — roughly +8-10% dmg, a touch better than M1.
Amateur Maid: +2 levels to Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist and Chain Attack. Sounds flat, but because Corin's damage is packed into a few HUGE multipliers, this raw +2 is actually her biggest real damage step — game8 ranks M3 as one of her two strongest cinemas. A good stopping point for F2P who already own her.
Using Quick Assist, Defensive Assist or Chain Attack restores 7.2 Energy (once per 16s). Pure utility for slightly faster EX/Ult uptime, no ceiling change — low value.
Special Ops Maid: +2 levels to Special Attack, Ultimate and Core Skill. Like M3, this is where Corin's biggest multiplier (her chainsaw EX Special) lives — so the +2 pumps straight into her main damage source. game8 rates M5 her second-strongest cinema. A clean stopping point if you've pulled this far.
Final cinema amps her chainsaw mechanic: EX Special builds charges and detonates for bonus damage, spiking her burst inside the stun window. Very strong but full-cinema territory — on an old A-rank, pushing to M6 is for fans only; most stop at M3/M5.
- Monstrous EX Special multiplier: her 'Get Ready~☆' chainsaw out-damages many agents' Ultimates — huge single-target burst in the stun window.
- Super-armor anti-interrupt while revving the chainsaw — once she commits, the combo is almost impossible to knock off.
- Cheap and F2P-friendly: an old A-rank obtainable/upgradable through free Interknot/Signal channels, a solid Physical DPS for beginners without an S-rank.
- Simple, easy-to-slot teams: just needs one good stunner (Lycaon/Caesar) + a support, no rare anomaly engine required.
- Must STAND STILL during EX Special → very exposed; she practically requires the enemy Stunned/controlled and is weak against mobile or multi-target fights.
- Old-gen A-rank: her damage ceiling clearly trails modern S-tier DPS, only shining in the stun window and needing tight timing.
- Heavily dependent on a strong stunner and a slow ramp — if the Stun whiffs or is short, her entire damage turn is wasted.
Reasonable in Shiyu Defense: single-target / boss floors let Corin dump EX Special in the stun window — with a proper stun core (Lycaon + support) she can still clear a side cleanly. But as an old A-rank, don't expect top scores against modern S DPS.
Harder in Deadly Assault: mobile high-HP bosses plus a sustained-output demand expose Corin's 'stand-still, needs-Stun' weakness. Still playable with a strong stunner keeping long Stun uptime, but usually not the optimal pick for this mode.
