Sub-stats — value of one roll (5★)
Every +3 levels grants one roll, landing randomly on one of the three values below. These are the true values added to your stats; the in-game panel shows them rounded down.
| Stat | Low | Mid | High |
|---|---|---|---|
| HP | 33.9 | 38.1 | 42.3 |

What main stat to run, by role
| Body | Feet | Planar Sphere | Link Rope | Sub-stat priority | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Main DPS | CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG | ATK% or SPD | the character's own Elemental DMG Boost | ATK% (or Break Effect for a break-focused kit) | CRIT comes first — aim for roughly a 1:2 ratio of CRIT Rate to CRIT DMG — then ATK%, then SPD. |
| Healer | HP% or Outgoing Healing Boost | HP% | HP% | Energy Regeneration Rate or HP% | HP% first, then SPD — healing output scales off the target's Max HP. |
| Tank / Shielder | DEF% or Effect Hit Rate | DEF% or SPD | DEF% | DEF% or Energy Regeneration Rate | DEF% first, then Effect Hit Rate, then SPD. |
| Support | No safe default — depends on the character's kit, check that character's page | SPD, almost always correct | No safe default — depends on the character's kit, check that character's page | Energy Regeneration Rate | SPD first; add Effect Hit Rate if the character applies debuffs. |
This is a default framework, not a hard rule. Some characters break from it because of their own kit — for example a support that needs CRIT DMG or Break Effect instead of Energy Regeneration Rate. Always check that character's page before locking in a set.
Basic rules you need before picking Relics
- Head always rolls flat HP, Hands always roll flat ATK — no need to check the main stat on these two, just look at the substats.
- Only Feet can roll SPD as a main stat; only the Link Rope can roll Energy Regeneration Rate as a main stat.
- A substat never duplicates that piece's own main stat, and the four substats never duplicate each other.
- Each piece caps at 4 substats. Every +3 upgrade grants one roll — either unlocking a new substat line or boosting an existing one at random.
- Enhancement cap by rarity: 2-star +6, 3-star +9, 4-star +12, 5-star +15. Starting substat count: 3-star 1–2 lines, 4-star 2–3 lines, 5-star 3–4 lines.
- The main stat is NOT random — at the level cap it's always the exact same fixed number. Only substats roll randomly.
- Quick filter trick: enhance to +9 and you already see enough substat quality to decide keep-or-salvage — don't burn all your resources to +15 before judging.
Should you keep or salvage this piece?
- Wrong main stat for the slot (e.g. an HP% Sphere on a Lightning DPS) → salvage it right away, don't get attached.
- Right main stat but the 4 substats don't have even one line of CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG / SPD (for a DPS role) → low value, salvage first.
- Right main stat plus at least 2 substats you actually need from the start → enhance to +9 and reassess — this piece is worth investing in.
Where can you get Relics?
- Cavern of Corrosion — the main source of the 4 Cavern Relic pieces, with 6 difficulty tiers tied to your account's Equilibrium Level; the higher your Equilibrium Level, the thicker the 5-star drop rate.
- Simulated Universe — source of the 2 Planar Ornament pieces, only unlocked from World 3 onward.
- Divergent Universe — a second source for Planar Ornaments, separate from the Simulated Universe.
- Operation Briefing — clearing these objectives also pays out Relics and related materials.
- In-game shops — some vendors sell full 4-piece sets directly for in-game currency.
- Treasure chests scattered across the main story maps.
- Story quest rewards, plus milestone rewards for leveling up your Trailblaze Level.
Relics unlock during the Belobog story arc. To target the exact set and slot you need instead of farming blind, use the Omni-Synthesizer: it runs on Relic Remains, which you get by salvaging Relics you don't use. The machine unlocks from Equilibrium Level 3 onward.
Every piece & its lore
Deliverer's HoodHead
The hood that the legendary Deliverer wore to shield himself from storms. In actuality, it is probably nothing like what the bards describe.
as the hero of deliverance descends from beyond the sky into the Abyss of Fate, alongside a black box.
He came in response to the prophecy, yet in those times the priests feared to speak of what lay beyond the sky.
"Do not speak loudly of the sky, for the suspicious Aquila never hesitates to castigate with Daythunder."
Hearing this, the confident Deliverer replied in fury:
"O diviner of calamities, you never considered that even the gods should fear punishment from the children of humanity."
Upon the city walls, the Deliverer witnessed the rosy dawn rising on the horizon,
"First comes Nikador, who wields Strife,
I pray they bring me glory, not madness."
The Deliverer pulled back his hood and hurled a spear,
its swift shadow like a lone wolf in early spring, charging through the streets of Castrum Kremnos.
"In the name of Mnestia! If destiny's threads are broken, I shall weave a new chapter."
The Mad King's roar echoed from afar, his spear heralding departure before his steps.
"My Chrysos Heir companions await me on this journey, I must set forth."
Janus's priests looked at the Deliverer's fluttering gray hair and cheered loudly,
rejoicing like withered plants bestowed with nourishment.
Deliverer's Sword GauntletHands
The gauntlets worn by the legendary Deliverer as he blazed through adversities. In actuality, it is probably nothing like what the bards describe.
and the hero of deliverance has arrived at the crossing of the River of Souls, where a ghostly pale dragon transformed into a ferry to the netherworld.
Along the River of Souls, the spirits of the dead morph into sweet whispers, urging the hero to never return to the mortal realm.
"You have subjugated the Titans of that world. Why not leave your legacy to successors?"
Hearing these words, the sorrowful Deliverer replied in anguish:
"O fallen souls who linger here, you've never considered how my desire to save the world outweighs my longing for reunion."
Aboard the ferry, the Deliverer recalled memories of his Flame-Chase journey,
"Farewell, Thanatos of Death,
I pray you'll watch over my dearest friends, even though they never feared death."
The Deliverer caressed his deerskin gauntlets, that still held the warmth of their fallen comrades.
He drifted with the warm and humid west wind, from the shores blooming with Antila flowers to the mortal realm.
"Cerces, please defend my rationality, so I need not face another shocking discovery."
That experience of reviving from the dead was enough to prove to anyone that he had the makings of a hero.
"The wait won't be long now, my fellow Chrysos Heirs. I shall fulfill that unforgettable oath."
The lands of Georios welcomed his return, as the Flame-Chase journey continued.
Like dark clouds parting in the night, the morning star shall sparkle once more.
Deliverer's Robe of LegacyBody
The battle robe worn by the legendary Deliverer when he engaged in combat. In actuality, it is probably nothing like what the bards describe.
the hero of deliverance trod upon a bridge of rainbows, and struck down the once untouchable sky.
Standing beside the hero of deliverance were the companions who had faced life and death together with him.
"Losses are a constant on the Flame-Chase journey, among which even life itself holds little value."
Upon hearing these words, the resolute Deliverer calmly replied:
"I have long understood your determination, and even after tens of thousands of times, I will never betray it."
On the way to the Era Nova ceremony, the Deliverer bid farewell to his comrades one by one, comrades who would defend their way back.
"That is an expedition and saga that lasted over a millennium,
a story entrusted to us by countless predecessors, one that must conclude here today."
The last partner donned their cloak on the Deliverer's shoulder guards, then turned to countless foes.
It was a symbol of them fighting together. It was entrusted to them, and it was a legacy.
"If you can hear me, Talanton... Such a heroic sacrifice deserves a better tomorrow."
"Therefore, we cast even ourselves into the flame—"
"only to inscribe the opening stroke in the poem of creation."
Under Kephale's gentle gaze, the Deliverer shall recreate the world with everyone's wishes...
Deliverer's Boots of PioneeringFeet
The boots worn by the legendary Deliverer as he trampled over mountains and braved through tides. In actuality, it is probably nothing like what the bards describe.
"Gate of Infinity, open countless paths home, and fulfill the prophecy of tomorrow's reunion."
"Bough of Rift, plant the Nouspore of 'Suspicion,' which shall ultimately sprout under everyone's wisdom."
"Eye of Twilight, behold! The sky is without flaw or seams, and at its end lies a healing rainbow light."
"Return home, Lance of Fury, ascend to the throne surrounded by the people, pledging for peace in this world."
"Speak freely, Coin of Whimsy, whether in clever jest or sincere words, there is no need to hide anything."
"Immerse in embraces, Hand of Shadow, master of the River of Souls..."
"Your gentleness can warm the seas of flowers across the shores, for every parting is worthy of the anticipation of reunion."
"The world shall hear the Chalice of Plenty's song, echoing endlessly in revelry."
"The world shall witness the Veil of Evernight, preserving memories that shall never fade."
"The perennial Pillar of Stone shall bear all beings on their distant journey, until they reach their final destination."
"The Scale of Justice shall bestow its impartial laws, crowning the countless heroes of the Flame-Chase Journey..."
"Throne of Worlds, bear not everything alone.
Look, the inextinguishable sun has already risen..."
Those verses forged by regrets shall find closure in a rewritten poem.
That untouchable end shall be reached through the Trailblaze.

How to read this relic set page
Cavern Relics have 4 pieces: Head and Hand always carry fixed flat stats (HP and ATK), so only Body and Feet have a random main-stat you actually choose. The 2-piece effect unlocks with 2 out of 4 pieces from the same set; the 4-piece effect is stronger but needs all 4 and usually has its own trigger condition — read the exact text above before committing. Planar Ornaments only have 2 pieces (Planar Sphere + Link Rope) and only ever have one 2-piece effect, there is no 4-piece version.
The two types also differ in where you get them: Cavern Relics drop from the Cavern of Corrosion and cost Trailblaze Power per run; Planar Ornaments come from the Simulated Universe or Divergent Universe, which do NOT cost Trailblaze Power — you trade for them with items or completion rewards instead. A full loadout usually combines one 4-piece Cavern set (or two different Cavern sets at 2 pieces each) with one 2-piece Planar set — go 4-piece when that set gives a large, reliable damage buff, and mix 2+2 when you need to stack several smaller stats (e.g. ATK% from one set plus Elemental DMG% from another).
The "who should use this" list is pulled from cross-sourced build consensus and updates automatically as the meta shifts, it is not hand-picked. See the full set table on the Relics page, or check terms in the HSR Glossary.
