Barbara is the free healer the game hands you, and early on she's a rock-solid source of healing for a young account. The best part is she asks for nothing expensive: the craftable Prototype Amber and a free 4pc Ocean-Hued Clam are more than enough, just stack HP%. If you want more value, let her hold the 3-star Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers to buff your main DPS's ATK. Farm HP% on sands, goblet and circlet first and she'll keep you alive through the whole opening stretch.

Combat Rotation
- Open with Elemental Skill Let the Show Begin♪ (32s CD) to summon the Melody Loop, dealing AoE Hydro DMG and applying Wet to nearby enemies.
- Stand inside the Melody Loop and land a few Normal Attacks to trigger party-wide healing scaled off Barbara's Max HP.
- Swap immediately to your main DPS to exploit Wet for elemental reactions (Freeze/Electro-Charged/Vaporize depending on team).
- When the team urgently needs healing, unleash Elemental Burst Shining Miracle♪ (80 Energy, 20s CD) for a large Max HP-scaling heal to the whole party.
- Swap back to your DPS carry to keep dealing damage while Energy recharges.
- Recast the Elemental Skill every time its 32s CD ends to keep Wet active for reactions and healing.
- Prioritize Energy Recharge gear to shorten the wait for the next 80-Energy emergency Burst.

Strengths & Weaknesses
- Can restore HP for the team via Let the Show Begin♪.
- The core mechanic (via Let the Show Begin♪) scales with HP — HP% is also an easy-to-find substat, and the character usually comes with high survivability too.
- 4★ (Catalyst) — obtainable via the standard wish/banner, no need to pull on a limited banner.
- The Normal Attack (via Whisper of Water) already deals innate Hydro DMG from the start — no need to wait on the Elemental Skill to apply the element.
- Since it scales with HP (via Let the Show Begin♪), it can't share ATK%-geared artifacts with other DPS — needs a separate HP-focused artifact/weapon set.
