Amber
Amber is a starter character with modest power, so only invest if you genuinely love her. The charged-shot Melt playstyle can put up decent numbers, but it demands good aim and a strong support cast. If you just want light use, build her as a Support with 4pc Noblesse Oblige to buff the team. Farm CRIT DMG and Elemental Mastery first; a craftable 4-star like Prototype Crescent or Hamayumi is more than enough.

Combat Rotation
- Cast Elemental Skill (E) 'Explosive Puppet' to throw out Baron Bunny, taunting enemies; it explodes for AoE Pyro DMG when destroyed or its timer runs out.
- Fire a few Normal Attacks to build up Energy toward the Burst.
- Once Energy is full, unleash the Elemental Burst (Q) 'Fiery Rain', continuously raining arrows for AoE Pyro DMG over time — great for clearing mobs or extra DPS.
- After the Burst, go back to Normal/Charged Attacks (Aimed Shot) — hitting weak points deals Pyro DMG and can trigger elemental reactions if the enemy is already affected.
- Prioritize Charged Attacks on weak points to proc the passive 'Precise Shot', boosting ATK by 15% for 10 seconds, setting up the next combo.
- Repeat the loop: E to taunt, Normal Attacks to build Energy, Q for AoE clear, then Charged Shots on weak points — fits an off-field Pyro applier or AoE sub-DPS role.

Strengths & Weaknesses
- Has crowd-control (knockback/pull/freeze/stun…) via Explosive Puppet.
- Buffs the whole team's DMG/stats via Wildfire, with no elemental restriction on party composition.
- The core mechanic (via Explosive Puppet) scales with HP — HP% is also an easy-to-find substat, and the character usually comes with high survivability too.
- 4★ (Bow) — obtainable via the standard wish/banner, no need to pull on a limited banner.
- The Normal Attack (via Sharpshooter) already deals innate Pyro DMG from the start — no need to wait on the Elemental Skill to apply the element.
- Since it scales with HP (via Explosive Puppet), it can't share ATK%-geared artifacts with other DPS — needs a separate HP-focused artifact/weapon set.
- The ascension stat is just plain ATK% — no built-in CRIT/EM/DMG Bonus advantage like many other characters, everything has to be rolled from scratch on artifacts.
