Sneering Harlequin

"What kind of joke could make the sneering ugly face contort into such an expression of laughter?" When plain jokes could no longer satisfy, and easy amusement failed to draw the masses' attention, the greedy one remembered this mask. That roaring laughter once lacerated the corners of its mouth, its afterecho reverberating across the universe to this day. Yet he was famished, consumed by a desire to hunt down the ultimate "joke" to fill his belly. Later, he got his wish and donned the mask.
