Prioritize Anomaly Proficiency > ATK% > PEN > ATK (NO CRIT needed, since Jane's crits scale off AP).
Skill priority: Core Skill > Basic Attack > Dodge (Dash/Assault) > Special > Assist
Very much worth building and pulling: she's still one of the strongest Anomaly DPS around, easy and smooth to play. Her strengths are high uptime and reliable Assault burst; her weaknesses are needing to hit an AP threshold before she fully takes off, and a fair reliance on an enabler (
Seth) to stay safe during long on-field stretches.
Level 60 targets : ATK 2,300–2,800+ / HP 9,000–10,000+ / DEF 800+ / Anomaly Proficiency 375–420+ IN COMBAT / Anomaly Mastery 192+. Key AP thresholds: above 120 AP she starts converting +2 ATK per point; at 375 AP her Assault reaches 100% Crit Rate; at 420 AP she caps the +600 ATK bonus in Passion. No need to farm CRIT — Jane's crit comes from AP. Discs: 4 Anomaly Proficiency · 5 PEN Ratio% > Physical DMG% > ATK% · 6 Anomaly Mastery. Substats: Anomaly Proficiency > ATK% > PEN = ATK.
1) OPENER: use Basic attacks and Perfect Dodge / Defensive Assist to fill Passion Stream → enter Passion (bar turns red). 2) IN PASSION: hold Basic to release Salchow Jump (an invulnerable spin, heavy anomaly, and it RESTORES Passion instead of consuming it). 3) Prioritize Perfect Dodges to land Dodge Counters — the highest daze and anomaly per second, and they restore Passion. 4) STUN WINDOW: use Chain Attack / Ultimate → Jane instantly enters Passion at full value, refreshing her Salchow charge → chain multiple Salchows back-to-back for burst. 5) Weave in EX Special when available (part of her best combos). 6) LOOP: keep Passion up and spam Assault; with a second Anomaly agent, trigger Disorder in between.
Adds 1 extra Salchow Jump charge (the spinning Hold-Basic move in Passion) — very useful with a Stunner to chain multiple Salchows in the stun window. In Passion, Physical Anomaly Buildup Rate +15% and each point of Anomaly Proficiency adds +0.1% damage (cap +30%). A solid output bump with no playstyle change.
The ideal cap if you chase mindscapes (~+45% dmg): hitting a Gnawed enemy (or a squad member triggering Assault on a Gnawed enemy) ignores 15% of its DEF; and when Assault CRITs, its CRIT DMG is boosted by +50% (from the fixed 50% up to an effective ~180% value). STOP HERE (M2) if investing heavily — the Alice + Jane + Nicole team at M2+ is rated the strongest in the game by. F2P still plays M0 well; not mandatory.
All skills (Basic/Assist/Dodge/Special/Chain) +2 levels. Just a small flat bump with no gameplay change — low value, a stepping stone to M4.
When any squad member triggers Assault or Disorder, the whole team gains +18% Attribute Anomaly DMG for 15s. Handy in Disorder teams (Alice/Vivian) but a small bump for Jane herself — mostly a background buff, not worth pulling for on its own.
All skills +2 levels again. Still just flat numbers, a bridge to M6 — low value.
The whale-tier jump: in Passion +20% Crit Rate and +40% Crit DMG; after any squad member inflicts Assault, Jane INSTANTLY enters Passion with full Passion Stream (near-perfect uptime); on an Assault crit she fires an extra hit for 1,600% of her Anomaly Proficiency. Very strong but expensive — most stop at M0/M2, only those with spare resources aim for M6.
- Her anomaly can CRIT — a unique mechanic no other Anomaly had at release; and the crit scales straight from Anomaly Proficiency, so you never farm CRIT stats.
- Incredible mobility with 3 dashes; Perfect Dodge and Defensive Assist both dodge and refill Passion, making her very hard to hit and safe on-field.
- High uptime, strong both inside and outside burst windows; works as a sole DPS or in Disorder teams, giving great team-building flexibility.
- Revitalized by the new Anomaly roster (Alice, Vivian, Yuzuha) — her damage ceiling jumps sharply with the right partners despite being an early-release Agent.
- Very AP-hungry: needs ~375–420 Anomaly Proficiency to unlock full scaling (100% crit + ATK cap). Below that she loses a large chunk of damage — demanding disc RNG and farming.
- Reliant on player skill and field time: her power hinges on consistent Perfect Dodges / Dodge Counters; mobile enemies can make her Salchow combos miss hits.
- Not very flexible vs endgame buffs: if a mode's buffs (Shiyu/DA) don't favor Physical/Anomaly, Jane struggles more than many other characters.
Excellent in Shiyu Defense: rated T1 Anomaly DPS. Very strong single-target with Vivian (highest Assault scaling via Abloom, and she feeds Jane field time) + Yuzuha/Nicole; or the Alice + Jane + Nicole comp at M2+ that strongest in the game. Constant Assault crits pile heavy burst in the stun window.
Also strong in Deadly Assault: shines with Physical Disorder teams (Alice) or Ice/Fire-Physical Disorder (Burnice) to pile anomaly on multiple high-HP foes, with high uptime for steady output. Note: if the DA rotation's buffs don't favor Physical/Anomaly, her score dips versus buff-aligned carries.

Additionally, if Jane's Anomaly Proficiency exceeds 120, each extra point raises her ATK by 2, up to a maximum of 600. In the Passion state, Jane's skills that deal damage consume Passion Stream. Activating a Perfect Dodge or Defensive Assist regenerates Passion Stream. Jane exits the Passion state when all of her Passion Stream is consumed.
Basic Attack: Salchow Jump

Core Skill2
Core Passive: Insight
When Jane's attacks hit an enemy, it causes them to enter the Gnawed state, lasting for 5s. If any squad member triggers Assault on an enemy in the Gnawed state and causes the Flinch effect, the Flinch effect duration is extended by 5s, and Assault DMG has a chance to trigger a critical hit, with a base CRIT Rate of 20% and CRIT DMG of 50%. Each point of Jane's Anomaly Proficiency further increases this CRIT Rate by 0.1%.
Additional Ability: Sore Spot
When another character in your squad is an Anomaly character or shares the same Faction:Jane's Physical Anomaly Buildup Rate is increased by 20%. When the enemy is already suffering from an Attribute Anomaly, Jane's Physical Anomaly Buildup towards the target is increased by an additional 15%.
How to read this build page
Every Agent build page has 4 parts: a stat table by level, W-Engine/Drive Disc suggestions, a Mindscape roadmap, and recommended teams. Read them in that order — stats tell you "what you need", gear tells you "where to get it", Mindscape tells you "is it worth pulling", teams tell you "who to pair with". The section below explains how to read each part, and it applies the same way to every character on the site.
How to read the stat table and level
The stat table shows values at the ascension breakpoints (usually the final one, e.g. Lv60) — these are BASE stats with no gear added, useful for comparing Agents or checking whether you've ascended far enough. CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG are shown separately because they set the damage ceiling once Drive Disc substats stack on top. If your real stats are lower than the table, you likely haven't fully ascended or leveled yet — it's not a build mistake.
Why the W-Engine and Drive Disc picks make sense
Most Agents have a "signature" W-Engine designed for their exact role, plus a few cheaper standard-banner substitutes. Missing the signature isn't a dead end — most Agents keep most of their power with a well-matched substitute, just short by some amount of total damage.
- Drive Disc sets (2pc + 4pc) are picked for the set effect that fits that Agent's playstyle (mono-element, Anomaly, stun, and so on).
- Substats follow a priority that changes by role: Attack-type Agents usually chase CRIT Rate/CRIT DMG before ATK%; Anomaly-type Agents add Anomaly Proficiency to that mix; Stun/Support roles often value survivability or energy stats over pure CRIT.
These weights differ per character — follow the exact substat priority table above rather than applying one formula to every role.
Is Mindscape worth chasing
General rule: M0 (no duplicates) already clears the game's hardest content, even for S-rank Agents. Mindscape is a duplicate-fueled upgrade system, and each level costs more resources for a smaller power gain. For most Agents, the best value stop is usually M1–M2 (where some key effects unlock), while M6 is almost always for players chasing the absolute ceiling, not a requirement. Check the Mindscape section in the table above for that specific Agent's numbers.
Skill priority by role
There's no single order for every Agent, but the general pattern by role is:
- Attack: level the main damage skill first (Basic or Special Attack depending on kit), Dash/Dodge last.
- Stun: prioritize whichever skill builds Daze/Stun fastest, since the stun window is where the whole team dumps damage.
- Support: prioritize buff or energy-generating skills over personal damage — this role's value comes from lifting the whole team.
- Anomaly: prioritize the skill that stacks anomaly buildup, since most of the damage comes from the triggered effect, not the direct hit.
Always level the Core Skill steadily alongside the rest — it's a baseline stat that affects the whole rotation, not just one move.
Where to dig deeper
This section only teaches you how to read the page — for deeper comparisons, use the dedicated tools:
