Sailing Towards a Second Life
Sailing Towards a Second Life is a 5★ Light Cone for the Path of The Hunt in Honkai: Star Rail.
A 5-star cone granting a massive 60% Break Effect, 20% DEF ignore on Break DMG, and a conditional SPD boost, making it a best-in-slot pick for Break-focused Rogue Path characters.
Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 60%. The Break DMG dealt by the wearer ignores 20% of the target's DEF. When the wearer's Break Effect in battle is at 150% or greater, increases their SPD by 12%.
He felt as if he had fallen into a deep sea. Everything was departing from him, leaving only his hollow thoughts writhing and struggling all alone. Terror, anxiety, loneliness, darkness, rage — these feelings didn't dissipate with his physical body, but remained within the mechanical shell in a different manner — and they were even heavier than before. He heard the call of the dead, smelled the scent of something being charred, the whirl of machinery buzzed around his ears, and the new blue blood flew towards his thirsty heart... Some cruel memories resurfaced as the unforgettable hatred turned into a weak light in the darkness. He followed the light to walk toward the end of it all, exerting every ounce of his strength to rise once again to the surface. He opened his eyes and a flash of fireworks darted past before hearing the doctor's congratulations — "Welcome to this world, once again." He balled his hands into fists — hands that were now made of cold iron... He would no longer live for himself.
How to read this Light Cone page
Every Light Cone has exactly one passive effect tied to the wielder's combat performance; that effect scales up as you Superimpose it from S1 to S5 — use the S1-S5 buttons above to see the exact numbers at each level instead of guessing or interpolating. A Light Cone only delivers its full value on a character who shares its Path; "Characters who use this cone" lists every character on that Path, while "Best users" is a narrower list pulled from real build consensus, not a guess.
Base stats (HP/ATK/DEF) are shown at Lv80 for every cone of the same rarity so they can be compared directly; a 5-star cone will always edge out 4-star and 3-star ones here — the real difference lives in the passive effect, not the flat stats. The "Alternative cones on the same Path" section suggests a few other options if you do not own the signature cone yet, or want to compare before spending ascension materials.
