Sleep Like the Dead
Sleep Like the Dead is a 5★ Light Cone for the Path of The Hunt in Honkai: Star Rail.
This 5-star Light Cone grants a solid flat 30% CRIT DMG plus a conditional 36% CRIT Rate boost when a Basic/Skill hit fails to crit, but the effect is capped to once every 3 turns, making it a strong yet somewhat niche pick tailored to crit-reliant Rogue-path damage dealers rather than a universal choice.
Increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 30%. When the wearer's Basic ATK or Skill DMG does not result in a CRIT Hit, increases their CRIT Rate by 36%, lasting for 1 turn(s). This effect can only trigger once every 3 turn(s).
The boy is still tightly grasping the sword even when fast asleep against the general's shoulder. The general gently taps the boy's cheek, and the boy mutters in his sleep. "General... I finally... won." The general pauses. He suddenly realizes that, compared to the boy trying to improve every day, he himself has endured too many years and is used to stagnation. "You will soon be better than everyone, and that will only be the beginning..."
How to read this Light Cone page
Every Light Cone has exactly one passive effect tied to the wielder's combat performance; that effect scales up as you Superimpose it from S1 to S5 — use the S1-S5 buttons above to see the exact numbers at each level instead of guessing or interpolating. A Light Cone only delivers its full value on a character who shares its Path; "Characters who use this cone" lists every character on that Path, while "Best users" is a narrower list pulled from real build consensus, not a guess.
Base stats (HP/ATK/DEF) are shown at Lv80 for every cone of the same rarity so they can be compared directly; a 5-star cone will always edge out 4-star and 3-star ones here — the real difference lives in the passive effect, not the flat stats. The "Alternative cones on the same Path" section suggests a few other options if you do not own the signature cone yet, or want to compare before spending ascension materials.
