Chongyun
Chongyun is an easy-to-get 4-star Cryo sub-DPS, most useful when you need off-field Cryo or want to convert a melee main DPS into Cryo damage for Freeze teams. He's no damage superstar, but his infusion field and resistance-shredding Burst are handy. The key is the craftable Sacrificial Greatsword to double-cast his Skill, which nearly removes energy worries. Hit your ER first, then chase CRIT; invest moderately, don't pour resources in like a main DPS.

Teams for Chongyun
Chongyun converts Eula's melee hits into Cryo damage and shreds RES, Raiden supplies energy, and the last slot flexibly covers a shield or healing.
Chongyun seeds Cryo for the resonance and shreds RES for the Freeze team, Kokomi keeps Hydro applied to lock in Freeze, and Kazuha groups enemies.

Spirit Blade: Chonghua's Layered Frost
After a short delay, the cold air created by the Cryo explosion will coalesce into a Chonghua Frost Field, within which all Sword, Claymore and Polearm-wielding characters' weapons will be infused with Cryo.

Combat Rotation
- Cast the Skill (E) – Spirit Blade: Chonghua's Layered Frost – first to trigger the Cryo explosion and form the Chonghua Frost Field (15s CD).
- The field lasts 15 seconds and infuses Cryo onto Sword/Claymore/Polearm teammates' attacks for 2 seconds per hit — swap to your main DPS right away to make use of it.
- Let the main DPS keep attacking while the field is active to trigger Freeze/Superconduct/Melt depending on your team comp.
- Once you've built up 40 energy, swap back to Chongyun and unleash Spirit Blade: Cloud-Parting Star (Burst, 12s CD) for wide Cryo AoE damage and launch.
- Swap Chongyun out again right after the Burst so the main DPS can keep combo-ing.
- When the Skill's 15s cooldown is back up, swap to Chongyun again to refresh the Frost Field.
- Repeat the loop: E to form the field → swap to DPS to attack inside it → Burst once 40 energy is ready → swap out, ideally syncing the Burst's 12s CD with your DPS's combo windows.
Chongyun constellations
The last attack of Chongyun's Normal Attack combo releases 3 ice blades. Each blade deals 50% of Chongyun's ATK as Cryo DMG to all opponents in its path.
Elemental Skills and Elemental Bursts cast within the Frost Field created by Spirit Blade: Chonghua's Layered Frost have their CD time decreased by 15%.
Increases the Level of Spirit Blade: Cloud-Parting Star by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
Chongyun regenerates 1 Energy every time he hits an opponent affected by Cryo.
This effect can only occur once every 2s.
Increases the Level of Spirit Blade: Chonghua's Layered Frost by 3.

After making numerous inquiries and putting in an enormous amount of effort, I finally tracked down the location of an old haunted temple. So I camped out there for four whole days, ready to exorcise the hell out of that place... and nothing happened. Not even the faintest glimpse of an evil spirit. *sigh* Sadly, this is a regular occurrence for me.
Favorite Food
Nothing makes me happier than sitting down to an authentic Inazuman meal, ingredients imported of course. After training hard all day, the ice-cold freshness of Inazuman cuisine takes the exhaustion away.
Least Favorite Food
Anything piping hot and laden with chilis is an absolute no-go for me. The mere thought of a Jueyun Chili gives me hot flashes.
