Yet Hope Is Priceless
Yet Hope Is Priceless is a 5★ Light Cone for the Path of Erudition in Honkai: Star Rail.
A 5-star cone that grants CRIT Rate and stacks up to 4 times of Follow-Up ATK DMG scaling off excess CRIT DMG, plus DEF ignore for Ultimate/Follow-Up ATK, making it excellent but fairly restricted to Follow-Up ATK-focused characters.
Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 16%. While the wearer is in battle, for every 20% CRIT DMG that exceeds 120%, the DMG dealt by Follow-Up ATK increases by 12%. This effect can stack up to 4 time(s). When the battle starts or after the wearer uses their Basic ATK, enables the DMG dealt by Ultimate or Follow-Up ATK to ignore 20% of the target's DEF, lasting for 2 turn(s).
"Lady Bonajade, if it weren't for your continuous supply of goods and donations, the orphanage would probably..." She gently stroked the children's heads, cutting off the director's words. "As long as I'm here, there's no need to worry about the days ahead... And there's no need to say these things to the children, it only adds to their worries." The children looked up, chattering with her about recent happenings, their worries, and their dreams. "Lady Bonajade, when are you gonna come visit us again?" "Don't work too hard, and make sure you get lotsa sleep..." "Lady Bonajade, when I grow up, I want to be someone like you!" She looked at the children's clear eyes and paused for a moment. "Someone like me..." The child handed her an apple, "Yes! Someone who brings light and hope to others!" Poverty, demerits, sorrow, suffering... She walked among the galaxies, taking others' pledges and giving equivalent returns. Life exists for desire, runs on it, and dies from it — this is an irrefutable law, as well as an inevitability of life itself. A philanthropist with a hidden agenda, a villainous merchant who mortgages souls... She was labeled by the world in many such ways, yet only she understood the true morals behind these actions.
How to read this Light Cone page
Every Light Cone has exactly one passive effect tied to the wielder's combat performance; that effect scales up as you Superimpose it from S1 to S5 — use the S1-S5 buttons above to see the exact numbers at each level instead of guessing or interpolating. A Light Cone only delivers its full value on a character who shares its Path; "Characters who use this cone" lists every character on that Path, while "Best users" is a narrower list pulled from real build consensus, not a guess.
Base stats (HP/ATK/DEF) are shown at Lv80 for every cone of the same rarity so they can be compared directly; a 5-star cone will always edge out 4-star and 3-star ones here — the real difference lives in the passive effect, not the flat stats. The "Alternative cones on the same Path" section suggests a few other options if you do not own the signature cone yet, or want to compare before spending ascension materials.
