Into the Unreachable Veil
Into the Unreachable Veil is a 5★ Light Cone for the Path of Erudition in Honkai: Star Rail.
A 5-star signature cone for the Erudition path granting a flat 12% CRIT Rate plus a massive 60% Skill/Ultimate DMG boost after using the Ultimate, with a unique Skill Point refund mechanic that sustains an aggressive rotation, making it a best-in-slot pick.
Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 12%. When the wearer uses their Ultimate, increases the wearer's Skill DMG and Ultimate DMG dealt by 60%, lasting for 3 turn(s). After the wearer uses their Ultimate, if this Ultimate consumed 140 or more Energy, recovers 1 Skill Point.
"The Intelligentsia Guild's letters have been handled." "The Simulated Universe is functioning normally..." "Literary collections have been reprinted." "Hey. Shhh. Don't bother Madam Herta..." ...Within a great tower on the edge of the cosmos, puppets work methodically, dealing with all manner of chores in anticipation of her arrival. Time passes. Countless people drift through the canvas of time like meteors streaking across the night sky, bright for an instant, before ultimately returning to silence. "Madam Herta hasn't shown herself in a long time..." "Is she still thinking...?" "Hmmm. Thought this would all be done after discovering a few axioms?" She stretches, lifting her head from the calculations, and another thought surfaces in her mind... "Nothing is irrefutable. I will chase these questions to the end!"
How to read this Light Cone page
Every Light Cone has exactly one passive effect tied to the wielder's combat performance; that effect scales up as you Superimpose it from S1 to S5 — use the S1-S5 buttons above to see the exact numbers at each level instead of guessing or interpolating. A Light Cone only delivers its full value on a character who shares its Path; "Characters who use this cone" lists every character on that Path, while "Best users" is a narrower list pulled from real build consensus, not a guess.
Base stats (HP/ATK/DEF) are shown at Lv80 for every cone of the same rarity so they can be compared directly; a 5-star cone will always edge out 4-star and 3-star ones here — the real difference lives in the passive effect, not the flat stats. The "Alternative cones on the same Path" section suggests a few other options if you do not own the signature cone yet, or want to compare before spending ascension materials.
