Why This Arc Is Strong (or Weak)

CRIT DMG substat, plus a stacking ATK buff while the wearer is the active character (stacks reset on switch) — general-purpose DPS pick with no special conditions.

If you defeat the required boss but forget to pick up the Arc, the game automatically mails it to your inbox afterward. Most of these fights only require winning once in single-player mode, so picking the lowest difficulty and quitting right after the win (no stamina cost) is enough.
