Beidou
Beidou is a strong 4-star Electro sub-DPS in Electro-Charged teams, where her Burst chains lightning off every hit her teammates land. She's energy-hungry (80-cost Burst), so a 4pc Emblem of Severed Fate is near-mandatory to both battery her and boost her Burst damage. Pair her with Fischl and Xingqiu for enough hits to proc her lightning. For weapons, the Battle Pass Serpent Spine is already plenty, no 5-star needed. Her downside: she wants the right team and careful Burst timing.

Additionally, holding down to unleash Tidecaller and hitting the opponent also gives extra boosts based on the power accumulated: every stack active decreases Beidou's Elemental Skill CD by 4s, as well as regenerates 8 Elemental Energy for her. This effect can trigger once every 15s.
Additionally, when inside a Polestar Field, Beidou will enter the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state.
Combat Rotation
- Before the fight starts, hold Tidecaller (E) to raise the lightning shield around Beidou, which absorbs damage scaling off her Max HP.
- Deliberately tank a couple of hits while holding the shield — getting hit exactly twice charges it to its maximum DMG Bonus.
- Release E right after the second hit lands to unleash the strongest Electro DMG slash, applying Electro to Beidou herself.
- Cast her Burst, Stormbreaker, for 80 Energy to summon the Thunderbeast's Targe: damage reduction and interruption resistance on a 20s cooldown, lasting 15s.
- During those 15s, keep landing Normal and Charged Attacks to trigger the jumping lightning discharge (capped at once per second) across multiple enemies, fishing for elemental reactions if the team has Hydro/Cryo/Anemo.
- If running Beidou as a sub-DPS/support, throw a few hits then swap to the main DPS while standing in the Burst's field to share the damage reduction and lightning procs.
- While E is off cooldown (7.5s, no Energy cost), repeat the hold-tank-release loop to keep dealing damage and shielding the team.
- Time the Burst every 20s and make sure Energy Recharge lets her hit 80 Energy in that window if you're not swapping off-field to recharge her.

This shield absorbs Electro DMG 250% more effectively.
Stormbreaker's arc lightning can jump to 2 additional targets.

Upon being attacked, Beidou's Normal Attacks gain an additional instance of 20% Electro DMG for 10s.

Ningguang, eh? As far as Liyue Qixing is concerned, she seems to be doing a good job. But for me, my responsibility lies with my ship and my men, and not with Liyue Qixing.

Ningguang is never really one to speak frankly, but she has been very direct with her criticism of me in the past. Haha... But hey, whether she likes me or hates me is her choice, nothing I can do to sway her.

Try as we did, we only made it back to Liyue Harbor in the dead of night, long after the lanterns had all been released. As I looked towards Guyun Stone Forest, I saw an adeptus, floating in the air, in the form of what appeared to be a young boy. I guess it is like the legends say — there really must be those that watch over Liyue, even if they cannot be seen.
Ganyu
Privately, Ganyu and I get on like a house on fire! But as you know, she's the secretary to the Liyue Qixing... and I'm not exactly in their good books right now! Doesn't bother me, but I wouldn't want to put Ganyu in a difficult position. So just keep what I said between us, yeah?

She's got a great personality, that one! The guys in the crew love that rock and roll of hers. Me? We have common ground, just... not when it comes to taste in music.
Yaoyao
Yaoyao always comes on board to play when we're in the harbor. Trouble is, when it's time for her to go she gives you the puppy eyes, and no one has the heart to send her away... Means we're always cutting it quite close by the time we manage to set sail.

Kazuha? That scallywag actually blocked a strike from the Raiden Shogun outside Tenshukaku! Easier said than done... After the battle he came to the Crux Fleet — said he'd voyage with us a while longer. I was more than happy to oblige.
