Echo sets Wuthering Waves

Every Resonator equips 5 Echoes at cost 4, 3, or 1 each — most loadouts run 43311 (one 4-cost, two 3-cost, two 1-cost) or 44111. Matching just 2 Echoes to one Sonata unlocks its 2pc bonus: a flat +10% to a matching element's DMG, Healing Bonus, or ATK, the same number on every set. Matching all 5 unlocks the 5pc bonus, which reshapes the kit around a specific mechanic — Glacio Chafe, Fusion Burst, Electro Flare, Aero Erosion, Spectro Frazzle, or Havoc Bane — rather than adding another flat number. One Echo can count toward several Sonata families, so open any card below to see exactly which ones it fills.

The six element sets — Freezing Frost, Molten Rift, Void Thunder, Sierra Gale, Celestial Light, and Havoc Eclipse — give +10% matching element DMG at 2pc and are the default 5pc pick for an on-element main DPS; the free Rover-Havoc runs Havoc Eclipse, and Fusion carry Galbrena runs Molten Rift. Moonlit Clouds is the pick for Outro-Skill buffers like Qiuyuan, since its Energy Regen keeps the swap-in window online. Rejuvenating Glow, used by the healer Verina, adds +10% Healing Bonus instead. With no signature set, Lingering Tunes's flat +10% ATK at 2pc is a safe generic fallback.

Three sets joined the roster in patch 3.5: Song of Feathered Trace, Heart of Evil's Purge, and Lamp of Nether Road. Song of Feathered Trace is already claimed — Yangyang: Xuanling, patch 3.5's new Havoc Sword DPS, runs it at 5pc. Because cost is fixed at 4, 3, or 1 per Echo, a full 5pc isn't always the right call. Splitting into two 2pc bonuses instead — say Havoc Eclipse's Havoc DMG plus Lingering Tunes' ATK — trades the 5pc's build-defining mechanic for two flat +10% bonuses and far more freedom over which cost-4 Echoes carry your best substats. This split earns its keep before a full 5pc is farmed, or on a sub-DPS/support slot whose 5pc trigger wouldn't fit a short field time anyway. A main DPS chasing Glacio Chafe, Fusion Burst, or another element mechanic still wants the complete 5pc.
