Akashi's Palace

The power-plant/control-center Palace revealed inside Path of Chemdah, after Katayama's Palace falls.

Summary

Akashi's Palace is the least-documented of the 4 in this dump: it shares Katayama's PalaceWorld record (sn4, "Path of Chemdah") and its 9 areas (a Power Plant with 3 named floors, then a Control Center split into Lower/Upper plus a Central Plaza, Core Monitoring Room and Mental Energy Blockade Area) are confirmed real, but the dump's PalaceLogic.json structural table has no row for it — the name "Akashi's Palace" is only confirmed via the English string table, and it has no official Japanese name string in this dump yet either. What we can confirm: 40 hub safe rooms across those 9 areas (the richest of the 4 Palaces), one area (Power Plant 1F/sn320) still carrying a placeholder name in the Japanese client text meaning "Power Plant — provisional", and a shared 17-room combat interior + 25-level Exploration ladder with Katayama's Palace (see that page for both).

How to unlock

Akashi's Palace opens inside the same Path of Chemdah hub as Katayama's (unlockParam 120007 for the hub itself). Beyond that, the dump can't tell us Akashi's own boss-encounter gate the way it does for the other 3 — there's no PalaceLogic.json row carrying a brokenQuest id for sn4. Community sources (fan wikis) place it right after Katayama's Palace is cleared, with the twist that Akashi had been secretly parasitizing Katayama's cognition — but that story beat isn't something we can verify from this data dump, so we're flagging it as unconfirmed by our own numeric source rather than stating it as fact.

Areas & floors

9

The 9 areas split into 2 zones: a Power Plant (3 named floors — the ground floor, sn320, still bears the placeholder Japanese name "Power Plant (provisional)") and a Control Center zone (Lower and Upper Control Center, Central Plaza, Core Monitoring Room, Mental Energy Blockade Area). No area here is flagged as the formal "entrance" in the dump — unusual among the 4 Palaces, where every other one has exactly 1 marked entrance.

No area is flagged as the formal entrance for this Palace in the data.

Safe rooms

57

40 hub safe rooms make this the richest exploration area of the 4 — 8 each in Power Plant 1F and 2F, 8 in 3F, 10 in Lower Control Center, 5 in Upper Control Center and 1 at Central Plaza. The 17-room combat-instance interior is the one shared with Katayama's Palace ("Area 1-5 Safe Room", prefixes 5520-5524) — we list it once, on Katayama's page, to avoid double-counting the same physical room codes on both pages.

Exploration rewards

Akashi's Palace shares its Exploration ladder with Katayama's — one 25-level track for the whole Path of Chemdah hub, capping at 2,000 EXP (see Katayama's Palace page for the full level table). There's no dump field that assigns a given level's reward to "Katayama's half" or "Akashi's half" of the hub specifically.

FAQ

Why doesn't Akashi's Palace have a Japanese name yet?
The dump we sourced (an upstream mirror last updated 2026-06-26) has an English name-string table with 5 named Palaces, but its Japanese equivalent only carries the first 3 (Kiuchi, Miyazawa, Katayama). Akashi's and Shimotsuna's Japanese strings simply weren't in this snapshot yet — that's a gap in our source, not proof the name doesn't exist in the live game.

Structural counts (areas, safe rooms, exploration levels) come straight from the P5X data (PalaceWorld, PalaceArea, PalaceSafeRoom, PalaceExplore, PalaceLogic) — not hand-typed.
