I Shall Be My Own Sword
I Shall Be My Own Sword is a 5★ Light Cone for the Path of Destruction in Honkai: Star Rail.
A 5-star cone with high bonus CRIT DMG and an easily stacked Eclipse buff that boosts the next attack's damage and adds DEF ignore at max stacks, making it a best-in-slot signature piece for a fast-attacking Warrior.
Increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 20%. When a teammate gets attacked or loses HP, the wearer gains 1 stack of Eclipse, up to a max of 3 stack(s). Each stack of Eclipse increases the DMG of the wearer's next attack by 14%. When 3 stack(s) are reached, additionally enables that attack to ignore 12% of the enemy's DEF. This effect will be removed after the wearer uses an attack.
The blade shattered, plunging into the bone-chilling cold. All earthly instruments are mere futilities, their worth discernible with a single glance. "What use do I have of swords?" She holds no attachment, nor does her gaze accommodate anything within. "From now on, I shall be my own sword." To transcend perceived precipices and achieve unprecedented breakthroughs, one must regard themselves as "kindling" to fuel their own fire.
How to read this Light Cone page
Every Light Cone has exactly one passive effect tied to the wielder's combat performance; that effect scales up as you Superimpose it from S1 to S5 — use the S1-S5 buttons above to see the exact numbers at each level instead of guessing or interpolating. A Light Cone only delivers its full value on a character who shares its Path; "Characters who use this cone" lists every character on that Path, while "Best users" is a narrower list pulled from real build consensus, not a guess.
Base stats (HP/ATK/DEF) are shown at Lv80 for every cone of the same rarity so they can be compared directly; a 5-star cone will always edge out 4-star and 3-star ones here — the real difference lives in the passive effect, not the flat stats. The "Alternative cones on the same Path" section suggests a few other options if you do not own the signature cone yet, or want to compare before spending ascension materials.
