Weekly Reset Guide

What resets daily vs. weekly, the current Weekly Bosses and their drops, and which F2P totals are per-patch, not per-week.

Wuthering Waves runs two overlapping refresh cycles: a daily reset at 04:00 UTC+8 (the same cutoff the game uses for Astrite shop stock and item auto-restore), and a weekly cap on Weekly Boss reward claims. This page explains what actually resets on which cycle, lists the current Weekly Bosses and their signature drops, and points out the resources that build up over a whole patch (roughly 6 weeks) rather than week to week — so you don't mistake a patch total for a weekly one.

What resets daily vs. weekly

The daily cutoff is 04:00 UTC+8 (Kuro Games' own confirmed reset time, used for Astrite shop restocks and item auto-refills such as Festival Journal capping back to 100). Weekly content works differently: Weekly Bosses can be fought for Echo drops any number of times, but each account can only claim the bonus material/EXP rewards from them up to 3 times per week — after that, fighting the same boss again still drops its Echo, just without the extra materials. This site has not found an official, published statement of which exact weekday that weekly cap rolls over on, so treat "weekly" here as a 7-day cadence rather than a fixed calendar day.

Resources that build up per patch, not per week

Community-tracked F2P totals (Astrite, Radiant/Lustrous Tides) that show up on tracker sites are almost always per patch — a patch runs roughly 6 weeks — not a weekly figure. Dividing a patch total evenly by its week count is a rough approximation at best, since events front-load or back-load rewards unevenly across the patch. See the live per-patch totals and countdown on the events page, and the full historic banner calendar on the version history page.

Frequently asked questions

What day of the week do Weekly Bosses reset?
This site has not found an official Kuro Games statement naming the exact weekday, so it is not listed here to avoid guessing. What is confirmed: the daily reset cutoff (used across the game, including shops and item restores) is 04:00 UTC+8, and Weekly Boss reward claims are capped at 3 per week.
Can I keep farming a Weekly Boss after I hit the 3-claim cap?
Yes for Echoes, no for materials. Past the 3-claim cap, fighting the boss again still drops its Echo (useful if you're hunting for a specific main stat roll), it just stops handing out the bonus ascension materials and EXP for that week.

How long until it respawns? The full reset schedule

  • Daily reset at 04:00 server time — the daily quest, activity points, and the monthly pass's daily payout.
  • Plants, ore nodes and ordinary field enemies come back on the daily reset. Clearing an area today means it is full again tomorrow — no multi-day wait.
  • Field bosses and weekly bosses respawn about 2 minutes after you defeat them. You do NOT need to leave the area or teleport away and back — simply wait there and the boss returns.
  • Special red-aura enemies take far longer: 72 hours counted from the exact moment you killed them, not from the daily rollover.
  • Weekly reset every Monday at 04:00 — weekly boss reward claims and the season pass's weekly missions.
  • Weekly bosses only pay out 3 claims per week, and those 3 are shared across every weekly boss — three different bosses once each uses them up just as fast as one boss three times. You can still fight them afterwards; there is simply no reward.

04:00 follows the time zone of the server you play on, not your device clock.
