トーマスから聞いた住所を頼りに、メインキャラクターはホワイトサンド湾のアトリエを見つけ、扉の向こうにエネルギーの痕跡を感じ取る。中では誰かが絵に没頭している——だが振り返って彼女が以前出会ったハンター（01-07「Ripples」の章）だと気づいた瞬間、彼はバランスを崩し、高い椅子から転げ落ちる。プレイヤーは彼を受け止めるか避けるか（タイムドインタラクション）を選択しなければならない。結果がどうであれ、彼の正体は確認される——魚池での謎の男、それがまさにラファエル、幻覚を引き起こすあの絵画の背後にいる天才画家であったのだ。短くも軽口の応酬に満ちたやり取りから、彼の本当の性格——雑誌インタビューで見せる冷たいイメージとは対照的な、率直でどこか子供っぽい一面——が明らかになる。本章では称号「Tripped」とMo Art Studioに関するスペースペディア項目が解放され、02-01から始まった調査の流れを二人の直接的な再会という形で正式に締めくくり、絵画とワンダラーの関係が明らかになる02-09/02-10への道を開く。
