アルファチームの初任務は、著名な美術収集家レイモンドの邸宅へメインキャラクターを向かわせる。彼は半月にわたり異常な精神錯乱を示し、展示室に閉じこもっている——病気の可能性を排除した後、依頼人ヘンリーはワンダラーが潜んでいるのではと疑っている。険しい郊外への道中、車が故障して立ち往生しているザインに偶然出会い、彼を同じ邸宅まで乗せていく——実は彼もレイモンドの診察のために向かっていたのだった。屋敷の中は奇妙な美術品で溢れている。二人は手分けし、メインキャラクターはワンダラーの痕跡を、ザインは診察を担当する。本章では称号「Drifter」が解放され、02-01から続くレイモンド邸調査を正式に開始させ、02-03/02-04でのザインとの初めての共同ワンダラー遭遇へとつながっていく。
