Main Quests vs. Main Story vs. Companion Story — what's the difference?

In-game, the Archive splits your journey into Main Quests (the chapter-level story you play through — Prologue, Chapter I-IV so far) and Companion Stories (short personal arcs unlocked for specific Resonators, usually after their trust/friendship hits a threshold). A third tab, Main Story, re-lists the exact same main-quest content broken into finer per-scene chapters for replay — this page groups by the chapter level shown above, since that's what most players search for.

FAQ

Does the story have voice acting and can I replay old chapters?
Yes — every Main Quest and Companion Story is fully voiced in Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean, switchable in Settings. Completed chapters stay readable anytime through the in-game Archive, and finished quest dialogue can be replayed from there as well.
What level or Union Level do I need to unlock the next chapter?
Each Main Quest chapter lists its own Resonator Level and Union Level requirement in the Archive before you start it — later chapters (III-IV) generally expect a fully-built team around Union Level 30-40+, since they gate behind earlier chapters being cleared in sequence. Companion Stories unlock per-character once trust reaches the required rank, independent of chapter progress.
Where do I find quest lists that aren't part of the main story?
Side Quests and Event Quests — the shorter, standalone tasks scattered across the open world — are covered on the Quests page, separate from the chapter-based story tracked here.
