Vila — Review & Analysis
Vila is a hybrid crit-buffer and healer who shines brightest on Mental DMG teams. Her Incantation I grants [Song of Generosity] (Crit Rate +20%, Crit DMG +20%, with an extra bonus for Mental DMG-type allies), and her Ultimate upgrades it into [Song of Fervor], which also deals bonus damage on attack. On top of that she brings healing, the damage-mitigating [Fortify], a full-team debuff cleanse, and Passion generation — a dense utility package folded into a single team slot.
- Two-in-one package: she provides a crit buff [Song of Generosity/Fervor] and healing plus the [Fortify] damage reduction, saving a whole team slot.
- The crit buff has an extra bonus reserved for Mental DMG-type allies; under [Rusalka] it upgrades into [Song of Fervor], which also adds damage on attack — a huge boost for crit-based Mental teams.
- Her Ultimate cleanses all [Debuffs][Abnormal Status][Control] from the whole team and grants herself [Rusalka], rescuing the party while unlocking her full power; her passives also feed Passion and [Song of Encouragement] to speed up the team's ultimates.
- Her Plant Afflatus is countered by Beast, so she takes +30% extra damage from Beast-type enemies.
- Most of her buff value is skewed toward crit-based Mental DMG teams; on non-Mental or non-crit teams much of her identity is lost, and [Song of Fervor] only activates under [Rusalka] (which requires firing her Ultimate), so her power ramps up over time rather than landing instantly.
Prioritize her Ultimate first to unlock [Rusalka] — the key that turns [Song of Generosity] into [Song of Fervor], boosts her healing, and generates [Song of Encouragement]. Next level Incantation I (her main crit-buff source), then Incantation II (her heal). Since both her bonus damage and her healing scale off Vila's ATK, favor an ATK-oriented or support Psychube; if the team needs extra sustain, a healing Psychube also fits her medic role.

[Rusalka] New Effect Added: the non-ranked Ultimates cast by Plant, Spirit, and Intellect characters count as rank 3 incantations. When in the [Rusalka] status, Vila can obtain Ultimate. At the start of the round, if in the [Rusalka] status, gains rank +1 for a random incantation.
[Song of Inspiration] New Effect Added: Grants [Song of Passion] to the target and gains Moxie +1. [Song of Generosity] and [Song of Passion] can be granted to multiple targets.

Teams with Vila
Melania and Regulus both key off Moxie and Ultimate — the faster Moxie fills, the more often their Ultimates fire. Vila carries the same Moxie/Ultimate tag and adds Heal + Sturdy so the chain never stalls. Rubuska closes the loop with a Moxie-tagged heal that keeps everyone topped up between Ults.
