Avgust — Review & Analysis
Avgust is a 5-star Plant support blending buffer and healer roles around a front-back positioning gimmick. Incantation II puts the whole team into [Recovery], healing every round off her ATK, while The Final Ritual deals AoE Mental DMG and hands out [Ardor] (offense) to the front and [Fortify] (defense) to the back. Because her passive splits buffs by position, she plays like a flexible enabler who sustains and shields at once, leaning far more toward support/buffer than pure DPS.
- Incantation II heals the whole team every round based on ATK and lasts multiple rounds, giving the party a steady survival source.
- The Final Ritual deals Mental DMG to all enemies while granting offensive [Ardor] and damage-reducing [Fortify] — an ultimate that covers both offense and defense.
- Incantation I dispels all of the target's buffs on hit, handy against self-buffing enemies.
- Plant is countered by Beast, so she takes extra damage against Beast enemies.
- Her buffs are split by front-back position (front gets offense, back gets defense), so she demands careful team ordering to fully pay off and can't buff everyone evenly.
Since Avgust's core job is healing and buffing, prioritize Incantation II (her [Recovery] engine) first, then The Final Ritual to reliably deliver [Ardor] and [Fortify]. Because both her healing and damage scale off ATK, an ATK-focused Psychube lets her sustain hard while still contributing AoE damage; if you want to lean fully into survival, a healing-boost Psychube reinforces the back line better. Invest in her Portrait to extend the [Recovery] duration and raise her buff values.

Where to Get
Teams with Avgust
Windsong, Blonney and Kanjira all carry the Confusion tag — stacking Confusion on the same enemy makes it more likely to attack its own side, effectively removing it from the fight without needing to burst it down. La Source keeps everyone alive with Moxie + Heal while the debuff resolves. None of the four needs a Euphoria.
Teams →Vila, Avgust and ONiON all tap into Heal together with Sturdy — combining it across three kits at once outperforms any single carry doing it alone. Barbara keeps the line-up alive with Heal so that payoff has time to land.
