Hissabeth — Review & Analysis
Hissabeth is a Mental-damage AoE carry (Plant, 6★) built around Serpentine Scales stacks that pay off through her Ultimate. Because her passive keeps spawning Hiss! cards and neither those nor her Ultimate count toward the team's Incantation limit, she feeds her own card tempo and Moxie almost for free. Her Ultimate, "Simulation of a Zero-Dimensional Explosion," hits the whole board for 500%, lifts each Asbestos Scale stack's Origin DMG from 20% to 70%, then recycles the stacks back into Hiss! cards — a loop that nukes wide and refuels at once.
- Genuine wide Mental damage: Skill 1 strikes 2 targets and the 500% board-wide Ultimate make her strong at clearing packs.
- Card engine: her passive and Skill 2 keep producing tier-1 Hiss! that do NOT eat the team's Incantation limit, sustaining card tempo for everyone.
- Self-sufficient resources: short Snake's Den converts into Moxie, and Basic Attacks on Asbestos Scale targets apply Rigidity while refunding extra Moxie — she drives her own Ultimate uptime.
- Stack-reliant: much of her power is loaded into Serpentine Scales count and the Ultimate payoff, so before stacks ramp her sustained damage feels thinner than expected.
- As a Plant unit she is countered by Beast (takes +30% damage), so against Beast-heavy lineups she needs extra shielding or healing to stay alive.
Level her Ultimate first — it is her damage payoff (500% board-wide plus lifting each Asbestos Scale stack's Origin DMG to 70%) — then Skill 1 to thicken everyday AoE output; Skill 2 and the passive mostly handle card tempo, so raise them later. For Psychubes, she is a DPS, so favor ones that boost ATK / damage / Crit to amplify her Mental DMG; if the team lacks stability you can slot one for survivability, but pure healing Psychubes are not her lane.

Hissabeth — Skills & Incantations
“Insight II: Mass attack. Deals 300% Mental DMG to 2 enemies, and deals an additional 150% Mental DMG to targets holding the 【Serpentine Scales】 status.”
“Insight II: Self buff. Consume 4 stacks of 【Snake's Den】. At the end of the round, generate four copies of rank 1 【Hiss!】 that do not take up the allied Incantation Limit; if there aren't enough stacks of 【Snake's Den】, gain 3 additional Moxie.”
“Insight II: Mass Attack. Deals 750% Mental DMG to all enemies; on hitting a target, the Genesis DMG taken by that target at the end of this round from each stack of 【Serpentine Scales】 is increased from 20% to 100%, and at the end of the round, convert all 【Serpentine Scales】 into an equivalent number of copies of rank 1 【Hiss!】.”
“Insight III: When attacking an enemy that's holding 【Serpentine Scales】, Hissabeth inflicts 【Rigidity】 on the target and gains 1 additional Moxie (triggers up to 1 time per round).”

Where to Get
Teams with Hissabeth
Mercuria's Ultimate is the only kit in the roster confirmed to grant 【Rank Up】 to the whole team, and the same cast dispels enemy buffs while stacking party-wide Crit Rate — both feed straight into Argus, whose passive already locks in a guaranteed Crit and whose own second skill dispels the target's buffs independently, so the two dispels rarely whiff. Hissabeth adds a second wide Mental nuke that runs almost entirely off her own card engine, needing nothing from the other three to keep firing. Yenisei keeps all three offense-first kits alive long enough to land their bursts.
