Fusion Calculator

A few things players have learned about fusion order and hidden unlock conditions:

• Fuse first, then claim: a fused Persona has a chance to inherit a skill from one of its materials, but taking the same Persona directly (without fusing) only gives it the default skill — always try fusion first if you want the extra skill.
• Realm of Repression seals aren't unlimited: player testing points to a daily cap of around 30 — after that, extra Persona Challenge clears stop granting seals, so plan farming sessions instead of grinding past the limit for nothing.
• Kohryu needs more than its four materials: it only unlocks once your Merope rank reaches 20, so having every ingredient ready doesn't guarantee the fusion option is available yet.
• Not every rank-VII/VIII Persona has to come from fusion — some (King Frost and Bishamonten, for example) are also available from the Exchange shop, which can be faster if fusion materials are scarce.
• Kohryu isn't the only fusion gated behind Merope rank — Anubis, Setanta, Okuninushi, Archangel and Narcissus need the same kind of Merope Synergy unlock on top of their materials.
• The Exchange route also isn't limited to King Frost and Bishamonten — Yoshitsune, Chernobog, Lilith, Cu Chulainn and Melchizedek are further examples of Personas earned that way (or from Challenge Battle rewards) instead of fusion.
