NIKKE Solo Raid Guide: 5 Solo Battles, 3 Attempts a Day & a Battery Source

Solo battles, up to 5 fights per attempt, 3 attempts a day, plus a random battery drop

TL;DR
Solo Raid plays much like Union Raid, but does NOT require a Union — you fight alone with your own full roster of Nikkes. Each attempt consists of UP TO 5 CONSECUTIVE BATTLES against the same boss, with damage from each battle chipping away at the boss's starting HP pool; since each Nikke CANNOT be reused within the same attempt, you need 5 distinct 5-Nikke squads (no repeated characters) ready for those 5 battles. You get 3 attempts per day (a different rhythm than Union Raid's weekly count) — starting an attempt begins a new challenge run against the boss. Beyond the main rewards, Solo Raid also doubles as a Battery source for leveling Harmony Cubes: clearing the boss drops Batteries, with the amount depending on the boss level defeated, capped at 6 Batteries per day and randomized.
How it differs from Union Raid

Solo Raid follows the same basic mold as Union Raid (fight a boss, chip away at its HP), but does NOT require being in a Union — every battle is entirely your own, with no shared boss HP pool with anyone else. It's a good fit for players not yet in a Union, or anyone who wants an extra reward/Battery source independent of group activity.

1 attempt = up to 5 battles, no repeated Nikke

One Solo Raid attempt consists of UP TO 5 consecutive battles against the same boss; damage from each battle accumulates against that boss's starting HP. Since the rules forbid reusing the same Nikke across different battles within one attempt, you effectively need enough distinct Nikkes to field 5 full squads (5 squads × 5 Nikkes, no character repeated between squads) — this is why Solo Raid demands a noticeably wider roster than regular Campaign content.

3 attempts a day — a different reset rhythm than Union Raid

Solo Raid resets DAILY with 3 attempts per day, unlike Union Raid which resets WEEKLY with 3 attempts per week. Starting an attempt consumes one of that day's 3 attempts and opens a new challenge run (up to 5 battles) against the currently available boss.

Battery drops — the bridge to Harmony Cube

Clearing the boss in Solo Raid drops Batteries — the item used to level up Harmony Cubes (see the Lost Sector article for how Batteries are used). The amount received depends on the boss level defeated, is randomized, and caps at 6 Batteries a day through this channel. If you need more, Batteries can also be bought at the Union Shop at a rate of 200 Union Chips per Battery.
