Tidalklast is a Normal enemy of the Aggeloi family in Arknights: Endfield. You will run into it in Transboundary Activation Point - Shouchu. Defeating it drops Instant Vintage. In its melee stance it swings both tentacles in a frontal arc for Physical damage; it only uses this when you are close. Stay at mid range or dodge laterally out of the arc.

How Tidalklast attacks — and how to dodge
- Tentacle Sweep — In its melee stance it swings both tentacles in a frontal arc for Physical damage; it only uses this when you are close. Stay at mid range or dodge laterally out of the arc.
- Ground Slam + 360 Swipe — Melee stance: drives both tentacles into the ground for Physical damage, then follows with a full 360-degree swipe that knocks operators back. The follow-up hits every direction, so use the ground-thrust telegraph to dash out of its radius rather than trying to sidestep.
- Vertical Spin Dash — Melee stance, used when you are far away: it spins vertically and dashes forward for Physical damage plus knockback. Sidestep perpendicular to its dash line as it closes.
- Ice Barrage — In its ranged stance it encases itself in ice, becoming resistant to everything except Heat (and more vulnerable to it), then fires a barrage of 6 shots dealing Cryo damage and Cryo buildup, up to three times; later repeats add shockwave-producing tentacle swings. Strafe between shots and pour Heat damage into it, since this armored stance is its main damage window against Heat.
- Laser Mark Detonation — Ranged stance: fires patterned lasers that leave marks on the ground, which then detonate for Cryo damage, followed by a charged continuous beam. Step off the marked tiles before the detonation, then keep moving so the sweeping beam cannot settle on you.
- Triple Cryo Laser — Ranged stance: lasers three ground spots for Cryo damage and Cryo buildup with knockback, freezing the ground. Avoid the three targeted spots and treat the frozen ground as a hazard afterwards.
- Ground Thrust + Triple Wave — Ranged stance: thrusts both tentacles into the ground for Physical damage, then sends out three consecutive expanding Cryo waves. Dodge outward on each wave in turn instead of holding still after the first.

Aggelos
The Aggelos (plural: Aggeloi) refers to any hostile and animated entity comprising natural matter and a halo structure, and is created by an Ankhor via catalytic construction. Throughout the history of humanity's expansion across Talos-II, the Aggeloi have always been our primary threat. The Aggeloi War was named after the enemy fought by humanity.
There are 4 currently verified modes of Aggeloid behavior: (1) construction; (2) deconstruction; (3) mimicry; and (4) attacking humans / human-built objects. However, since the Ankhor-induced Aggeloi formation process resembles that of industrial production, we are uncertain if the Aggeloi can be classified as a living or biological lifeform.
The construct pattern of an Aggeloid entity refers to its outward appearance, mode of movement, and means of attack. A single Ankhor tends to create Aggeloi with only a limited number of construct patterns, though they may include occasional non- or alter-pattern variants. Hence, an Ankhor's property is defined by the range of Aggeloid construct patterns it can create.
Since the First Aggeloi War, humanity has encountered new construct patterns of Aggeloi, giving rise to the Standard Aggeloid Classification (SAC) system. SAC is designed to help users search and identify weaknesses and best tactics for neutralizing a particular Aggelos.
Currently, most Aggeloid threats come in the form of raids stemming from unknown sources or random Ankhorfalls. Nevertheless, humanity's history records described how the entirety of the Northern Frontier was destroyed within 24 hours after the First Aggeloi War broke out.
The Aggelos is likely to remain as the greatest challenge faced by human civilization on Talos-II.
