Firemist Originium Slug is a Normal enemy of the Wildlife family in Arknights: Endfield. You will run into it in Jingyu Valley, Wuling City. Defeating it drops Slug Meat. Charges forward in a straight line to slam the target for Physical damage. Sidestep out of the charge path instead of backpedalling, since it covers distance fast.

How Firemist Originium Slug attacks — and how to dodge
- Ram Charge — Charges forward in a straight line to slam the target for Physical damage. Sidestep out of the charge path instead of backpedalling, since it covers distance fast.
- Acid Spray — Sprays acid onto five ground locations for Nature damage. The landing spots are telegraphed on the ground, so leave the marked zones and keep units spread apart.
- Death Detonation — Below 50% HP it explodes for Physical damage, knocks the operator back and coats them in boiling acidic fluid; any additional damage taken while coated sets off a second explosion. Disengage right after the blast and eat no follow-up hits, or kill it outright before it reaches the threshold.
