How to Get Operators
There are three ways to recruit Operators in Arknights: Endfield: pulling Headhunting banners, progressing the main story, and completing limited-time events.
Free Characters
These Operators are guaranteed for free through the story or events — no banner pulls needed:
The Endministrator has two gender versions (Male/Female) — both are free, and you pick one when starting the game.

Reconveners: Rhodes Island Operators Returning in Endfield
The five current Operators with Rhodes Island roots — Laevatain, Gilberta, Ardelia, Pogranichnik, and Snowshine — originally appeared in the first Arknights game. The two stories are only around 150 years apart, and the Cosmic Gate linking Terra to Talos-II was destroyed early on, cutting off direct contact. So instead of having these characters simply live through all those years, Endfield's lore explains their return as Reconveners — beings reconstructed from a fragment of the original person's consciousness preserved inside the primordial Originium, a process overseen by Warfarin. Each person can only be reconstructed once, and because the primordial Originium itself was damaged, the resulting memories and personality aren't a perfect copy — the process is closer to reincarnation than cloning. According to Ardelia's own dialogue, a Reconvener keeps the original's appearance, personality, and part of their memories, but has no childhood of their own, since they're brought into being already grown — which is why Rhodes Island guides and trains them to adapt as independent individuals. One notable pattern: every known Reconvener's original was a character infected with Oripathy in the first game, even though the Reconvener itself shows no sign of infection. This information is officially classified within the game's world, but Reconveners themselves don't hide who they are, and Endfield Industries' leadership appears to be aware of at least part of it. This is a corner of the lore that English and Japanese sources rarely cover in depth — this summary follows community-sourced findings; see gamevika's full Lore Compendium for the complete Talos-II background.
Coming Soon / Not Yet Playable
Besides the 31 Operators on this page, the developer has announced or teased a few more upcoming faces:
Released July 16, 2026, with her banner running through August 9, 2026. Arcane's dedicated character page on gamevika is being updated.
A 6★ Electric Supporter, arriving in the banner opening on August 9, 2026.
The Feranmut Proxy, first teased in the 1.2 livestream and shown again in the 1.4 preview — no stats or release date announced yet.
Unconfirmed operators — community reports
The 9 names below have NOT been confirmed by the developer as upcoming playable operators — they're community speculation/leaks based on trailers, brief model appearances, or other characters' dialogue in-game. There's no release date and no official element/class/skill info. gamevika will update this as soon as anything becomes official.
Teased in the preview for the next update; the community calls this the "13th agent." Element, class, and skills are all unknown — some speculate a Nature element to support Arcane.
Shown in the same teaser as Sū. Some visual details reminded viewers of a familiar face, but the ears and outfit are clearly different — the community agrees this is a COMPLETELY NEW Endfield character, not a returning one.
A female character teased alongside Sū; the community believes she's a "Reconvener" version of Typhon, an AoE-damage-and-stun operator from the original Arknights. If true, she'd likely be an area-damage operator.
Formerly part of another force, now introduced as an Endfield member. Already shown in the developer's official character intro material, but has NOT yet appeared in the in-game story.
Appears in the main story, formerly with Endfield Industries, currently pursuing an unfinished promise with the Administrator. Her look reminds some of a familiar face from the original Arknights, but whether she's a "Reconvener" is unconfirmed.
An elite operator assigned to dangerous combat missions, appearing in several key story scenes alongside the Administrator. The name draws comparisons to a character of the same name in the original Arknights.
Shown in the release trailer but has never appeared in the in-game story, so there's almost no information beyond the character design.
A well-known Rhodes Island medical operator from the original Arknights. Her existence is referenced indirectly through other Endfield characters' records/dialogue, hinting she may appear in a Rhodes Island-related storyline.
A member of the "Reunion Movement" from the original Arknights. In that story, she was held at Rhodes Island after a battle — the community believes she could return as a "Reconvener" in Endfield.
Everything in this block comes from player-community speculation/aggregation, NOT an official announcement from the developer. Details may change or may never come true.
