Upcoming Endfield Characters

This page records only what the studio has said publicly, and keeps it separate from rumour. The reason is practical: saving resources on a leak that turns out wrong costs you weeks of farming. The last section states exactly what we left out and why.

3 characters the studio has announced

All three appeared in the future version preview during the 1.4 livestream. This is the studio's own word, not anyone's guess.

Si
Confirmed playable

The Feranmut Proxy. First shown in the 1.2 livestream, back again in the 1.4 future preview. She debuts in the story during 1.4, so you meet her before you can ever pull her.

Hongshan Imperial Guard
Teased, no stats yet

Male, unnamed. The studio offered exactly one line about him: he was once driven into utter despair. No class, element or weapon type confirmed.

Sarkaz Archer
Teased, no stats yet

Female, unnamed. Described as someone who wanders through dreams collecting stories from across the world, and implied to cross paths with the Endministrator.

The detail few people mention: there is no bow in this game

The Sarkaz Archer carries a bow, but Endfield currently has 5 weapon types and none of them is a bow. So either a new weapon type is coming, or she fights nothing like she looks. That is inferred from the existing weapon data, which you can check yourself on our weapons page.

7 characters already in the story but not playable

This group is completely different from the one above. They appear in the story or in records, but the studio has never said they will be playable. Do not hoard for them.

What we left out, and why

A widely shared leak sheet claims to know the characters of upcoming versions. We are not carrying it, because the person who posted it states their best accuracy is around eight in ten, and a reply on the same thread points out this source once insisted a character was coming who never arrived. The same goes for the theory that the Sarkaz Archer is a returning face from the older game: that is community speculation, unconfirmed by anyone official. Better to be one line short than one word wrong.

Where the figures on this page come from

Endfield's publisher does not expose a public data interface the way some studios do, and the game's text sits inside the install package, so it cannot be queried directly. Figures here are therefore cross-checked across several independent sources, and wherever those sources disagree we print each way of counting instead of picking one number. Leaks and speculation are kept off this page.

Frequently asked questions

Who should I actually save for?

Only for someone the studio has confirmed as playable. A character teased without stats could land anywhere on the power curve, so hoarding this early is a gamble.

How often does a new character arrive?

Look at the release table above: each version usually brings one or two operators split across two phases, roughly three weeks apart.

When does this page update?

Whenever the studio runs a version preview livestream. We do not chase rumours between broadcasts.
