Version History Wuthering Waves

Every Wuthering Waves version from 1.0 to now, with full banner and event detail for the version currently live.

Measured from our own release log, not rounded off: across 19 gaps the cycle has run 32–49 days, averaging 40.9. So "about six weeks" is roughly right but hides how much a patch can slip either way.

Announced by the developer in the livestream on 07/08/2026. We list only what was officially stated — no stats, no multipliers, no unconfirmed leaks.

Wuthering Waves ships a new version roughly every 6 weeks, and each one resets the banner lineup, adds a limited-time event chain, and sometimes opens a new area. This page tracks that history from 1.0 through the current patch, with the full banner and event breakdown kept for the version that is live right now.

How the patch cycle works

Each Wuthering Waves version is split into two banner phases roughly 3 weeks apart — Phase 1 opens with the patch, Phase 2 swaps in partway through. A version usually pairs one brand-new 5★ Resonator with a rerun of an older one per phase, plus their signature weapons.

The patch number (e.g. 3.5) identifies the version; the version name (e.g. "Blade of Past Resounds") is the marketing title Kuro Games gives the story arc shipping with it.

What this page shows per version

For every version: the banner headliners and the exact date range, cross-checked across several independent community trackers and used only where they agree. For the version currently live, this expands to the full Phase 1/Phase 2 banner list with 4★ rate-ups, confirmed livestream codes tied to that patch, and the event lineup with F2P Astrite estimates.

Older versions only list what is confirmed (banner names + dates) — details Kuro Games never published for a past patch are left out rather than guessed.

Frequently asked questions

How often does Wuthering Waves update?
A new version arrives roughly every 6 weeks, each split into two banner phases about 3 weeks apart.
Why do older versions show less detail than the current one?
Full banner/event breakdowns (4★ rate-ups, patch-tied codes, event Astrite totals) are only tracked while a version is live. Once a version ends, only the confirmed banner names and dates remain sourced — this page will not invent the missing details.
Where do the version dates come from?
From two independent community banner trackers, cross-checked against each other and used only where they agree; the current version's dates additionally match Kuro Games' own patch announcements.
