Etchspace Salvage: 6-Zone Derangement Table & Survival Time Calculator — Endfield

Etchspace Salvage is Endfield's extraction-style mode: the longer you stay in the Valley's Aberrants map, the higher your Derangement climbs, and each of its 6 zones carries a different Derangement multiplier. This page gathers the full multiplier table, explains exactly what raises Derangement, and includes an exclusive calculator estimating how long you can last in each zone.

What Etchspace Salvage Is & Unlock

Etchspace Salvage unlocks after clearing the main story stage Chapter I Process II and reaching Authority Level 22 per the most common community source — though another independent community source reports level 25. gamevika has no official data file to confirm which figure is correct, so both are listed instead of picking one arbitrarily.

The 6 Zones of Valley's Aberrants

The Valley's Aberrants map is split into 6 zones, each with its own Derangement rate multiplier — higher-numbered zones carry steeper multipliers, meaning less time before you get ejected.

What Increases Derangement

Derangement rises +1 per second once you leave a safe zone, doubles (×2) while you're in combat, and gains an extra +5 or +10 (depending on type) every time you open a chest or crack a crystal — all of these are then multiplied by your current zone's multiplier. Once Derangement hits the cap, you have exactly 10 seconds before being ejected from that zone. You also cannot bring healing items into Etchspace Salvage — the only in-map healing source is scattered Healing Nodules.

3 Container Types, 3 Loot Types

There are 3 container types mapped to 3 loot types: Package → Classified, Instrument Safe → Gold Statuette, and Auto-Vendor → Specimen (Auto-Vendor is special — it can be opened twice instead of once). Knowing which container you actually need saves you from burning Derangement time on loot you don't want.

The 12 Exploration Support Technologies

There are 12 Exploration Support Technologies unlocked over time; the most important group directly affects how long you can stay: Stable Protocols (raises the Derangement cap) · Container Expansion (more carry capacity) · Derangement Tolerance (slows Derangement gain) · Nodule Refining (better conversion rate) · Portable Explosives · Charge Burst · Energy Capture · Stress Feedback · Tactical Tempo · Armor Gilding · Fragmented Treatment · Aberrant Exploration.

Nodule → Aurylene → Operation Metric Conversion

Collected Nodules come in 7 tiers × 3 sizes, converting into Aurylene Crystals; each Aurylene equals 1 Operation Metric. The exact conversion rate between each Nodule tier/size and the Aurylene yield cannot yet be cross-checked against gamevika's own official data — treat any conversion table elsewhere as community-reported.

Numbers compiled by the community — the developer has not published an official reward table.

Focus Commission — Weekly Missions

Focus Commission is a weekly mission system: 3-4 missions per week, refreshable or extendable with Aurylene (the cost rises each time you refresh), and you can hold a maximum of 4 missions at once.

Ziplines — Shortcuts Across the Map

The map has a network of ziplines/ropes acting as shortcuts between areas — use them to cut travel distance and reduce the time you spend accumulating Derangement while crossing open ground.

Calculator: How Long Can You Last in Each Zonegamevika exclusive

The calculator below is something no community source offers: enter your current Derangement cap, pick the zone you're heading into, tick the box if you expect to fight, and it estimates how many seconds you can last before ejection.

Estimated time you can last: seconds

Simple estimate = your Derangement cap ÷ (1/sec × zone multiplier, ×2 while fighting). Does not account for chest/crystal spikes (+5 or +10 × multiplier) or Exploration Support Technologies that slow the rate — use it as a quick estimate, not an exact in-game number.

Which Zone to Pick for Which Goal

Because the Derangement multiplier scales exponentially across zones (×1 → ×20), zones 1-3 suit steady, low-risk collecting — good when you need to farm reliably and keep whatever you picked up. Zones 4-6 suit fast Operation Metric farming but carry a much higher risk of getting ejected mid-run — only go in once you've upgraded Stable Protocols enough for a high Derangement cap and know the layout well enough to avoid unnecessary fights.

More specifically: each zone drops its OWN unique set of Classified Docs / Gold Statuettes / Specimens — if you want a specific one, that exact zone is the only place to get it, no other zone substitutes:

12 Technologies — What Order to Unlockgamevika exclusive

You don't need to unlock all 12 techs in random order — gamevika ranks them by how much they affect your TIME-IN-ZONE, a criterion no source in our kho uses: 1) Stable Protocols (raises the Derangement cap — the most direct impact) → 2) Derangement Tolerance (slows Derangement gain) → 3) Nodule Refining (better conversion rate, more profit per run) → 4) Container Expansion (fewer forced early exits from a full inventory). The remaining 8 (Portable Explosives, Charge Burst, Energy Capture, Stress Feedback, Tactical Tempo, Armor Gilding, Fragmented Treatment, Aberrant Exploration) mostly support combat/utility — unlock those once the top 4 are settled.

3 Mistakes That Get You Ejected Mid-Rungamevika exclusive

3 mistakes that get newer players ejected mid-run, worked out by gamevika from the Derangement mechanic itself (no source in our kho lists these as a warning set): 1) Standing in combat inside a high-multiplier zone — Derangement already doubles in combat, and the zone multiplier compounds on top, so don't fight enemies you don't need to. 2) Cracking every container regardless of type — you already know the 3 container types map to 3 different loot types (see section above); opening all of them anyway burns Derangement on loot you didn't want. 3) Entering high zones (4-6) with a low Derangement cap — going into Zone 5-6 (×10-×20 multiplier) before upgrading Stable Protocols enough is close to a guaranteed ejection before you collect anything meaningful.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does this page list two different unlock levels?

Because two independent community sources give two different numbers (22 and 25) and gamevika has no official data file to confirm which is correct — site policy forbids arbitrarily picking one and presenting it as certain.

Is the survival-time calculator 100% accurate?

No — it's a simple estimate based on the base rate, and doesn't account for chest/crystal spikes or the slowdown effects from Exploration Support Technologies. Use it as a quick estimate, not an exact in-game number.

Can I bring healing potions into Etchspace Salvage?

No — the mode bans bringing healing items; the only healing available comes from Healing Nodules already placed on the map.
