Zenless Zone Zero Tier List (Version 3.0) - Best Characters July 2026

Zenless Zone Zero · 2026-07-04 · GameVika
30-second summary

In version 3.0 (July 2026), the S+ bracket — the top tier on GameVika's tier-list — holds exactly 11 Agents: Ye Shunguang, Yixuan, Astra Yao, Yuzuha, Sunna, Aria, Dialyn, Nangong Yu, Pyrois, Velina and Norma, covering all three core roles: DPS, Stun and Support. Ye Shunguang is the strongest carry DPS this patch, Astra Yao is still the best Ether Support, and the new 3.0 units (Sunna, Aria, Velina) reshape the meta. But ZZZ is skill-based: correct builds matter as much as tier, so use the filterable table below instead of trusting a static screenshot.

Who tops the ZZZ 3.0 tier list right now?

The ZZZ meta shifts every patch, so the right question isn't "who is strongest ever" but "who is T0 in the version you're playing". In 3.0, the top tier on GameVika's tier-list is S+ with exactly 11 Agents, covering all three core roles: DPS to carry damage, Stun to break Daze, and Support to feed buffs.

Our table filters by element, role and axis — unlike the static images most sites use, you tap to isolate what you actually own instead of scrolling the whole page. The update badge at the top tells you which patch it currently matches.

Top DPS — Ye ShunguangThe strongest carry DPS of 3.0, with an extremely high on-field ceiling
+
Top Stun — Nangong YuAn Ether Stun who breaks Daze fast while dealing big damage himself
+
Top Support — Astra YaoThe best Ether Support in the game, stacking DMG buffs for nearly any team

Full tier table: S+ → B

S+ — 11 agentsYe Shunguang, Yixuan, Astra Yao, Yuzuha, Sunna, Aria, Dialyn, Nangong Yu, Pyrois, Velina, Norma
+
S — 19 agentsMiyabi, Caesar, Yanagi, Evelyn, Vivian, Trigger, Soldier 0 Anby, Alice, Lighter...
+
A — 20 agentsNicole, Soukaku, Lucy, Anby, Zhu Yuan, Qingyi, Jane, Ellen, Burnice...
+
B — 6 agentsNekomata, Soldier 11, Corin, Billy, Anton, Ben

That's 56 Agents rated, and none of it is gut feeling. Each rating is built from real build data for all 56 Agents — stat targets by role and skill-priority order — not "I heard she's strong".

To see where your own team stands against this benchmark, plug your ID into the UID lookup; and if you suspect your stats are off, the Drive Disc score tool instantly flags which substats you're wasting. An S+ on junk discs still loses to a well-built A — that's exactly why ZZZ is called skill-based.

Why the S+ bracket pulls ahead

Three new 3.0 pillars drag the whole meta up: Sunna is a Physical Support that defines the patch with all-around DPS-team buffs; Aria is an Ether Anomaly who triggers incredibly powerful Disorder and flexes across teams; Velina opens a whole new Wind meta with high off-field damage.

Alongside them, Ye Shunguang holds the highest on-field ceiling this patch, Yixuan is a self-sufficient Auric Ink Rupture DPS who isn't picky about teammates, and Yuzuha both buffs and heals so she slots anywhere. The common thread: they carry numbers and pair easily, so they sit on top rather than just looking good on paper.

By axis: Attack · Anomaly · Rupture

Reading the table by damage axis stops you from double-buying a role. The Attack axis is direct on-field DPS like Ye Shunguang, Hugo and Evelyn — bursting inside the Stun window. The Anomaly axis like Aria, Vivian, Yanagi and Miyabi deals damage over time and pops Disorder; since 3.0, a Wind agent on the team makes Vortex replace Disorder.

The Rupture axis like Yixuan, Yidhari and Banyue is the newer high-ceiling DPS branch. Pick one axis as your core, then wrap a same-element Stun and Support around it — that's the most durable way to build a team.

By endgame: Shiyu Defense & Deadly Assault

Most sites only give one overall table, but the real test is the two endgame modes: Shiyu Defense and Deadly Assault. Here what scores is bursting things down in few turns and breaking Daze on rhythm, so an S+ team with a fast Stun (Nangong Yu, Dialyn, Norma) plus one Support (Astra Yao, Yuzuha) almost always clears full stars.

To understand the scoring, the rotating buffs each cycle, and how to pick a team per boss, read GameVika's Shiyu Defense guide before you sink resources — clearing endgame is about building right more than pulling more.

F2P, A-rank picks & changes from last patch

No S+? You're still fine: A-rank is the budget backbone. Nicole shreds defense and feeds energy, Soukaku buffs Ice, Lucy buffs Fire, Anby breaks Electric Daze — these cards hold value every patch because their worth lives in mechanics, not personal numbers.

As for changes since last patch: Miyabi, who once dominated, slid down to S as the new 3.0 wave arrived, though she remains a top-tier DPS outside the new meta; Sunna, Aria, Velina and Norma are the fresh names that climbed straight into S+. Check the recommended teams to slot A-ranks into the right role before complaining you're short on units.

FAQ & next steps

Should you pull a T0 unit? It depends which role you lack — if you're short a Support, Astra Yao or Yuzuha beats adding yet another DPS. Before you pull, run the odds with the pity counter and check the banner schedule so you don't come up short.

Don't miss the still-valid free redeem codes to bank Polychrome. And to learn which stats, W-Engine and Drive Discs an Agent wants, open her build page for the exact stat targets and skill-priority order. A tier list tells you who's worth it; the build decides how strong they actually get.
