Reroll Guide

How rerolling actually interacts with the pity system, and when it is worth the time.

Summary

Rerolling means restarting your account (new install, guest login, or new server) to reach the starting banner again, hoping for a specific 5★ before the hard pity of 80 pulls forces a guaranteed one anyway. It only makes sense if your starting pulls are generous and the reset cycle is short — a few minutes, not a fresh download and full tutorial each time.

Reroll steps

  1. Clear the tutorial (or skip it, if available) to reach the first banner.
  2. Spend all starting currency and tickets on that banner in one go.
  3. If the result isn't what you wanted, reinstall or switch guest account and repeat — track how many pulls you got each time so you know your real cycle length.

What to actually chase

The 5★ (SSR) pull rate is a low 0.8%, so with a reroll cycle this short the realistic goal is landing just one usable 5★ rather than a specific dream pick. The community's top two picks to stop rerolling for are Jericho, whose Dual Swords fill the Burst gauge fast and deal good damage on their own, and Meliodas, a strong self-sufficient DPS whose Dark element works in any team regardless of matchup — though Meliodas is a limited banner character, so a fresh account only gets 9 pulls at him from Hero Pick Up tickets before he rotates out. Outside of those two, use general team logic (an Attacker, a Warden, a Supporter) rather than chasing a specific "best" unit.

F2P Fire team and mobile reroll speed

On mobile, logging in as a guest and repeating the tutorial gets you roughly 57 pulls total (38 on the standard banner plus 19 on the limited pickup banner) in about 15 minutes per attempt — by far the fastest platform to reroll on; PC and PS5 require juggling multiple linked accounts/emails, which takes much longer. If you'd rather skip rerolling altogether, four free characters — Tristan, Tioreh, Slater, and Guila (available through story progress and an in-game event) — form a full Fire-element team that can carry you through the entire main story on its own.

When rerolling isn't worth it

If the reset cycle takes more than a few minutes (full reinstall, mandatory tutorial dialogue, server-transfer cooldowns), the time spent rerolling usually outweighs the head start gained — you'd clear more real story progress just by playing forward.

FAQ

Does rerolling skip the pity system?
No — every fresh account still follows the same hard pity of 80 pulls for a 5★ (with the standard 50/50 rate-up rule); rerolling just lets you try the same pity window repeatedly on a fresh start.
