Shadowpounce is a Flying-type pet of Grade 5 in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin.

A cat-shaped spirit shrouded in swirling black mist. Though it moves stealthily, it can display a sharp, commanding presence in an instant.

Pets are caught in the field rather than pulled, so the two numbers that decide everything are the potion's base capture rate and the monster's own resist — and the lower you push its HP, the bigger the bonus on top. Once caught, a pet can be sent on expeditions to gather resources while you play elsewhere. Because the potion's number is its base rate before the monster's own resist is subtracted. Every monster has its own resist value, so the same potion performs differently on different pets. The rates on this page already have that subtraction applied.

Yes — the bonus grows as HP drops and reaches its maximum once HP falls below the pet's capture threshold. That threshold is published per pet, so it is worth checking before you burn a rare potion.
