Brimley — Review & Analysis

Brimley is a support piece built entirely around action economy: Incantation II grants Riding Together to one ally and stacks Horsemanship, so once he reaches 3 stacks his Incantation I forces that ally to recast their own Incantation II, while his Ultimate forces them to fire an Incantation I as well. He still throws out AoE Mental DMG and shaves 20% of the target's Reality DEF, making him an enabler who buys extra ally turns while chipping in damage and armor break.

✓ Strengths

An extra-turn engine: stacking 3 Horsemanship lets the Riding Together ally fire an extra Incantation, and the Ultimate triggers yet another free cast — a big lift to the whole team's action pace.
The Ultimate sweeps 300% Mental DMG across the field while shredding 20% Reality DEF for 3 rounds, opening the way for the team's damage dealers.
Incantation I's AoE Mental DMG keeps him from being dead weight while he is still ramping up stacks.

✕ Weaknesses

His value leans heavily on the Riding Together ally: if the passenger's kit is weak, the entire extra-cast machine falls flat.
He must bank 3 Horsemanship stacks before the forced-cast fires, and only one Riding Together can exist at a time, so he can empower just a single ally; his Mineral Afflatus is also countered by Star.

⚑ Build Priority

Level his Ultimate first to lock in the AoE damage, the Reality DEF shred and the free forced cast; then Incantation II, since its Horsemanship charging and Riding Together tag are the core of his enabler role. Because most of his value comes from buying extra ally turns rather than his own hits, run a support-leaning Psychube (buff duration or energy regen); if you want him as a secondary damage source instead, swap to an ATK- or crit-oriented Psychube.
