At Xbalanque's request, Ronova created the rules of Natlan: the Ode of Resurrection and the Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame to protect Natlan against the Abyss.Sacred FlameThe heavens bestowed upon the Sacred Flame a monument that shines eternally and banishes darkness. The Pilgrimage was created to maintain the Sacred Flame, the pillar of Natlan's stability, and combat the Abyss.Night Warden WarsThe Pilgrimage allowed the selection of the best warriors bearing the Ancient Names to participate in the Night Warden Wars, the true battle against the Abyss. After the Abyss was defeated, the Night Warden Wars ceased to exist.The Pilgrimage can serve as a means of choosing the next Pyro Archon, as it allows one to prove one's strength.
