Burst Calculator
Pick 3 Nikkes to cover Burst I, II and III and plan your Full Burst rotation.

What does this tool do?
NIKKE squads need all 3 Burst stages (I, II, III) to unlock Full Burst — this tool lets you try out 3 characters in each stage and preview the activation order. Each dropdown is already filtered to the right Burst stage, so picking all 3 stages builds a valid Full Burst chain.

How does Burst work?
- The Burst gauge fills up as you fight; every Nikke is assigned one of 3 stages: Burst I, II or III.
- A squad of 3 needs all 3 stages covered — miss one and the Burst chain breaks at that point.
- Activating them in order, I → II → III, in the same turn triggers Full Burst — the whole squad gets a short damage/effect boost.
- Each dropdown only lists Nikke belonging to that Burst stage (I / II / III), so you build a valid I → II → III chain directly; the tool confirms once you've picked all 3 stages.
- Every Burst III has a 40s cooldown → you usually need 2 Burst IIIs to trigger Full Burst every 20s. See details in Team Building. Teams
Full squad formation (5 Nikkes)
- A real combat squad has 5 Nikkes, not 3 — the common pattern is 1+1+2+3+3 or 1+2+3+3+3 (1-2 Burst I, 1-2 Burst II, and 2-3 Burst III Nikkes).
- With 2 Burst III Nikkes in the squad, they are usually the main damage dealers; the remaining Burst I/II Nikkes act as buffers/support that set up the Full Burst.
- PvE (raid/campaign/tower) and PvP (Arena) often call for different Burst roles for the same character — strong in PvE does not always mean strong in PvP, so it is worth building two separate squads instead of reusing one everywhere.
Squad positioning (left → right)
- Formations are often written as a digit sequence by Burst stage per slot, left→right — e.g. "1-1-2-3-3" or "2-2-1-3-3" (Arena), or an attack-focused "1-2-3-3-3". Higher numbers (Burst III) are usually placed nearer the end since they are the main DPS.
- In Auto mode, when several Nikkes are ready to Burst at the same time, the game triggers them left-to-right by slot order — so put the Nikke you most want to fire first in a left-side slot.
- Prioritize weapon-range synergy (SG/AR/MG/RL/SR/SMG cover each other) first; element (attribute) counters matter less — early game you generally don't need to worry about elements yet.
- For Arena (PvP) specifically: place the highest-DEF Nikke in the leftmost slot to soak damage for the back row; if two Nikkes share the same Burst stage, put the stronger one on the left.
