As she wanders the city of revenants who all believe traveling the Sinders will lead them back to a fallen kingdom called Philos, she is invited to a monastery's Pilgrimage Ceremony, tends a mysterious blue flower, and slowly recovers fragments of memory tied to a forgotten queen the city once revered — eventually realizing that queen was her. The Myth reveals Xavier is the king who succeeded her after her disappearance, and the two piece together their shared history as the First Queen and King of a Philos long since destroyed, bound together even across death. In the final chapters they face a bishop-led battle in Sindersfell, choose to stand side by side, and Xavier is last seen traveling alone through the Deepspace Tunnel toward wherever she now is.
