Story Summary
This 9-chapter Myth unfolds in a decayed, near-immortal Philos civilization, told through the Othan Research Bureau's lab logs. The heroine and Caleb are lab-born test subjects A-01 and X-02, repeatedly killed, revived, and sent back into combat while researchers study the destructive energy building inside Caleb as their bond deepens. The pair eventually escape the laboratory together, share a rare stretch of freedom including a visit to an amusement park, and try to build a life on the run, but the Othan Bureau's pursuit and Caleb's unstable power keep catching up to them. In the ending, as Caleb's condition worsens, the heroine must decide how far she will go to save him, closing on the idea that even an immortal civilization could not escape its own decay.
